If its Sunday, expect to find Obama golfing at Fort Belvoir. This week, though, his foursome includes Melody Barnes, President Obamas chief domestic policy advisor -- and the first woman whos played golf with Obama during his 24 trips to the links since taking office.
Barnes, wearing a baseball cap, dark long sleeve shirt and beige pants, joined Obama the same day that the New York Times is running a front page story, Mans World at White House? No Harm, No Foul, Aides Say, the latest in a round of similarly stories triggered by a high-profile, all-male basketball game the president played in earlier this month.
Deputy Press Secretary Bill Burton initially told pool reporter Lynn Sweet it was not true that Barnes was the first woman to golf with Obama, but when the Chicago Sun-Times reporter emailed back to ask who the others were, Burton replied:
I was wrong about this - all apologies. He golfed with women on the campaign trail but not until Melody this year. Sorry to all the people who were unwittingly misled by what I gave the pooler.

Night putting ...
He is a dipshit who knows nothing about anything that matters.
...More time campaigning/fund raising than on the troops
...more time trying to shut FOX down than on the troops
...more time on the big gala shindig and the White House for the Muslims than on the troops
....well, it's easier to just list the number of things he's spent LESS time on than on the troops.
That would by zip, nada.
Guess he didn’t have any time for the Marine Corps Marathon today either.
This.... *THIS*.... is what passes for journalism these days. Nothing about the massive Soviet takeovers of Healthcare and the Energy Industry.
Instead, we have a breathless piece about Barack's GOLFING.
No doubts remain: The media is 100% State-run.
He needs to return to Kenya; build his own golf course; and stay. He can play all the golf he wants. Just get out of America.
Where is Sheehan?
“So that’s General McChrystal’s problem - he can’t talk to Zer0 about what’s going on in Afghanistan, because he doesn’t play golf!”
Maybe he could caddie for him, or talk over a beer. There are options, the good general isn’t trying hard enough.
Or better yet, maybe nObama is helping OJ find the killers of his ex and exs’ boyfriend.
Barry’s Sunday score: Golf 24, God/Church 1
The “Chosen One” has a hard enough time saying Church let alone saying GOD.
So, do a fund raiser every 15 days or so, hit the golf course every 2 weeks, vacation every other month— isn’t life great?
hh
Wow, 24 times since 22 Jan. Is this verified? That’s a lot of golf, isn’t it? Each game is what...4 hours plus 2 in the clubhouse? Sheesh, I don’t think even Eisenhower golfed that much. Certainly Ford didn’t.
Does this dim bulb do anything but play sports (badly) and listen to rap at his Thursday night house parties? I can’t believe something this stupid is in the WH.
He has that in common with Limbaugh.
Hussein is a punk loser.
Never trust anyone who uses ‘golf’ as a verb.
Today is the 40th Sunday and the 278th day since his inauguration. So he has gone golfing less than one day in ten. He needs some relaxation from the hard work of his job. He’s got a full agenda to deal with, beginning with destroying Fox News and turning the US into Venezuela Norte. McChrystal just needs to be patient—Obama has to wait until after the November 3 elections before making a decision.
I was wondering if this was the first trip where
he replaced a divot himself?

Melody Barnes, President Barack Obama's chief domestic policy adviser, left, and White House trip director Marvin Nicholson carry their golf clubs as they prepare to leave the White House, Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009 to play golf with President Obama.
Blackie O better watch out.
Miss Melody be a whole lot better lookin....

"....And now for something completely different...Two men with a tape recorders up their nose."
