Already has... A few years ago there was a high school teacher near here (Sacramento, CA) that decided he want to be a girl.
However, he didn't have enough money for the operation. He got himself fired for wearing a dress, sued the school district and settled out of court. Then he had the money! The only reason he took the job was because he knew he'd be fired (my opinion).

Buterman has since filed a complaint before the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal for her dismissal — and reports that in the midst of her challenge to the Catholic school board, there are other secular schools where she might apply. She argues that public employers do not have a right to make employment decisions based on tenets of faith.

Quist explains that the Catholic Church operates some public schools for the government “and receives public funds based on the number of children that they have in their classrooms — and so they are receiving public tax dollars.” In light of this, however, Quist argues that when parents sign their children up to attend a school within the Catholic school district, “they know exactly what they're going into.”

...

IT has a point. When you take GOVENMENT money you are obligated to government regulations. Next will have a quota for trans-gendered teachers!

I guess private schools in Canada will now need to more carefully screen their future employees.

You cannot mainstream behavior that causes a biologically natural feeling of "ewwwwww" when contemplated by normal people.

Racists may hate but other races don't gross them out.

Nothing surprises me about what happens in a government run school. The case in point involves a private Catholic (parochial) school. That there is even a question as to whether this teacher has standing - enough to go to court - is horrendous.

It won't matter. The goal here is to force religious schools into giving up their religious freedom and to hire those that violate it. This is nothing but an assault on what little religious freedom remains in Canada.
