Can Catholic Schools Uphold Catholic Doctrine?
A complaint has been filed by a trans-gendered substitute teacher against a Catholic school board in Canada.
Jan Buterman was a substitute teacher for St. Albert Catholic Schools in Edmonton, Alberta, before announcing that she was going through the process of becoming a man through aggressive hormone treatments.
When Ms. Buterman began to appear as a male in the classroom, the school board officials opted to hand her a pink slip.
Dave Quist, executive director of the Institute of Marriage and Family - Canada, explained St. Alberts decision by stating: "The Catholic school board looked at it and said that [the gender change] was quote 'not aligned with the teachings of the church and would create confusions and complexit[ies] with students and parents as a model and witness to Catholic faith values. Therefore, they removed her from the substitute teacher list."
Ms. Buterman has filed a complaint before the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal for her dismissal because the parochial school receives public funds and, therefore, has no right to make an employment decision based on a tenet of faith.

do they really have to give her a pink slip? If she is a substitute teacher, just don’t call her. Or, is there a rule against that too?
Since religious schools are funded by the government in Canada either fully funded or partially funded, but the government should pull out completely so the schools could have the freedom in hiring and firing whoever they want.
Since most of the religious schools are funded by the government, the schools have to keep people like zim in, but if Canada is governed by the Tories, people should pressure their MP’s to pull funding of those schools so the schools could be free to teach what they want and hire who they want.
What sane parent would let their children be taught by the confused man-boy/girl?
The money paragraph: “Buterman has filed a complaint before the Alberta Human Rights Tribunal for her dismissal because the parochial school receives public funds and, therefore, has no right to make an employment decision based on a tenet of faith.” I don’t think It should be allowed to teach because it is all but certain she would scare the hell out of the children.
Many parents consider the advancement of perversion to be a positive and enlightened development.
The answer is easy, call he/she to substitute for the gym teacher. From the looks of he/she, my guess is he/she won’t be happy doing exercises.
It’s PAT!
We Can’t Stand Pat!
I think she already has a pink slip and doesn’t want to wear it anymore, the heart of the issue.
And it's either a she, or an IT. It will never be male, no matter what "treatments" it receives.
