VW is opening a plant in Chattanooga and will be hiring 1,200 for production. They started taking applications on line today and have received over 5,000 and the application period runs through November 15th.

This proves the recession is over. 1200 jobs created! /s
At least they were smart enough to take apps online. Could you imagine what would happen if they had an open employment call at some physical site?
Last month, my DIL attended a job fair in South Dakota. Every employer told the applicants to apply online. Almost everyone there had ALREADY filled out all the online applications. And South Dakota is doing relatively well in this economy.
