These people are not atheists. A true atheist wouldn’t have such anti-religious zeal.
Already? It’s too early for people to start this. I’m not even done dealing with the neighbors who think Halloween is a pagan celebration — well, they have a point, but I still think of it as Free Candy For Everybody Day. And then there’s Thanksgiving, or Free Smallpox For All Indigenous Peoples Day. Oh wait, isn’t that what Columbus Day is now called?
It’s difficult to comprehend why it is that so many characters can’t comprehend that Christ-mas is... well... all about Christ.
And, by the way, the First Amendment guarantees there will be no Official Religious Sect - as, for example, the Anglicans in England - it does NOT endorse atheism and nor does it ban religious expressions by the United States government.
