Has Carter shut up yet? He’s been out of office for 28 years. Clinton’s been out for 9 years and still around opining. Even Gore who never quite made it to the White House is in our face all the time. None of them ever just gets lost.
The only thing that might prevent this is the fact that Obama is extremely lazy and not very bright. If he loses the elections, he will also lose his powerful supporters, the people who are behind him and are manipulating him, because he will be of no use to them anymore. They'll find another vehicle. So I think it would be hard for him to "haunt" US politics on his own because he's simply not up to it.
I have a niggling reservation about that line of approach, and that is that the mockery, and his reaction to it, will tend to bring the office and the country down with him to some degree. It's a shame and I wish it weren't so, but there it is.
Sure didn't bother the 'Rats, though, in 2003, as soon as Bush was committed to Iraq, and the IED bombings began.
As soon as he leaves office, the next (one hopes GOP) President needs to dig into Obama's background at once, to see if Obama lied indictably about his credentials, or indeed flouted the Constitution (e.g. if it eventuates that he is still a citizen of Indonesia or something).
Funny! They did diverge. Lincoln was self-educated and read books to better himself. Obama was Harvard educated and writes books about himself.

Tell me, is this a PREDICTION that you are making ? How have you come to this conclusion? Do you have facts to back up your statements? I would like to know how you have come to this conclusion and I would like to see facts. Don’t get me wrong, i’m not a fan of Obama at all.
