Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin attacked CBS News on Wednesday after it aired an interview with Levi Johnston, the father of Palin's grandchild.
During an interview Wednesday morning on CBS's "The Early Show," Johnston repeated an accusation he made in a Vanity Fair article that Palin frequently referred to Trig, her son with Down syndrome, as her "retarded baby." Johnston also claimed that if he "really wanted to hurt [Palin], I could, very easily."
In a statement, Palin said that she and her family have "purposefully ignored the mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family."
"We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied," she continued. "Trig is our 'blessed little angel' who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life. Even the thought that anyone would refer to Trig by any disparaging name is sickening and sad."
Palin, who did not refer to Johnston specifically in the statement, singled out CBS for giving him a "forum to propagate lies" and alluded to Johnston's coming spread in Playgirl magazine. The seven-minute segment CBS aired Wednesday was the first in a two-part series.
"CBS should be ashamed for continually providing a forum to propagate lies," Palin said. "Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies - those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."

In the Vanity Fair interview, Levi claimed that Palin can’t cook, can’t clean, can’t hunt, can’t handle a gun, hated hockey. Levi also claimed that the Palins are on the verge of divorce.
I smell BS in Levi’s testimony.

By continuing the back and forth, she feeds life into matters.
If she responds, she should use it as a chance to have meaningful remarks about nationally important topics, like the economy, national security etc.
I predict Judas Johnston, with his 30,000 pieces of silver from his Playgirl spread, is going to have a very miserable life ahead. The boy is dumber than a box of rocks if he thinks what he is doing is going to destroy the Palin’s. The only thing he is doing is making their family stronger in this trial.

the good news is that God will be doing that for her. This kid has digged himself a very deep and toxic grave and all for the very worse motives.
