Finally, after two weeks of Andrew Sullivan enthusing over Obama on the weekend panel gabfest, The Chris Matthews Show, to the point that Matthews called it a romance, Matthews finally popped the question:
MATTHEWS: Are you still a man of the right?
Mr. SULLIVAN: I think of myself as a conservative, yes. And I think actually, at this point, Obama represents more conservatism than the Southern populism of the GOP.
Say WHAT?
Apparently, a conservative is whatever Andrew Sullivan is. He just cant bring himself semantically to express what he has done romanticallyadmit that his love for Obama has caused an ideological switch.

Andrew lost it a long time ago. Hate of anyone intolerant of the gay agenda has eaten up any good sense he ever had.

I beg to differ. There are plenty of gay conservatives worthy of respect. Mark J. Koenig is one of our best bloggers at NewsReal. And Cynthia Yockey who blogs at aconservativelesbian.com is fantasic.
They might be conservatives for now, but I agree with fish hawk: the gay agenda is diametrically opposed to the conservative platform on key issues. At one time, remember, Sullivan was at least somewhat conservative, but when it became clear that the GOP would not roll over and celebrate his perversions he jumped ship.
ulie Don’t you like Sapphire?
George: Oh, Sapphire. Uh ha
Julie: Although at times can be rather pedantic.
George: He can be pedantic. He can be pedantic
The faggy glasses are a dead givaway.
That's the kind of statement one would expect from a crack or meth addict. The synapses are all fried, no impulses are crossing the gap.
Do you have any gay conservative friends? Any you know personally?
another perv who has got it wrong
agreed
Define “plenty” you named one. Homo lifestyle goes against Christian values and most Conservatives that I know are Christians. Or at the least have Christian values. My question would be, why would gays not lean to the left where they fit in (with other kooks). As I suspect 99% of them do.
Not to my knowledge, no. However, I have a hard time imagining a homosexual who would willingly promote a socially/morally conservative platform, one which privileges the nuclear family, promotes sexual responsibility and monogamy, and seeks to define marriage in a traditional fashion.
