Remember what happened the last time Democrats tried to take over control of the nations health care system? Some three-dozen members of Congress lost their jobs as a result of the 1994 election. Why? Because they failed to heed the calls of Americans attending town hall meetings. Sound familiar?
Click here to see the names and faces of 36 members of Congress who became victims of the taxpayers wrath.
If this Obama/Pelefty/Reidcare debacle passes, 2010 will make 1994 look like a walk in the park.
I hope that 2010 isn’t the beginning of a cycle whereby Americans elect Democrat majorities, and get the hell scared out of them, resulting in Republican majorities that start acting like the Democrat majorities, causing new Democrat majorities to be elected, giving us more frightening experiences in leftist nightmares. Lets elect conservatives, and hold their feet to the fire. The madness needs to stop.
It’s over for the radical whack left in this country for next 100 years.....They have finally pushed all the right buttons at the wrong time!
We need a new gingrich(the old one has gone bad) to take best advantage of it. Otherwise it looks like it will turn into a fight between Conservatives and the NRCC which will try to insert lefties in as many races as it can. The Republicans can easily snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and leave the Social Democrats and Hussein with real power that we will not likely get another chance to overturn.
it won't much matter any more. The Republicans will NOT repeal it and will work to "streamline" it a bit. With it in place the political argument from then on will be almost entirely about who can run it more compassionately or more efficiently. Hordes of new bureaucrats will have been hired already and the Republicans will be loath to put them out of work. Also an incoming Republican Congress will just see all that neat new power and greatly increased chances to do "favors" for con$tituent$.
