Yesterday a caller asked Levin what he thought of Savage being banned from England and why haven't others said anything about it.

BTW, the caller was very nervous and had lied to get on the air.

Levin reacted very calmly and was civil and polite. He said that it was outrageous (don't remember that he used that exact word). Levin referred to Savage as Savage. He said the reason he and the others have not commented is Savage's verbal attacks.

I’m glad that Levin at least did not make fun of Savage’s birth name (Weiner) as he did so in the past.

When I heard Levin do that a few months ago, it reminded me of what Savage was talking about a few days ago, on the topic of Jewish people making fun of other Jewish people.

I’m glad that Levin did not return to that former behavior.

I think that Levin is realizing that the talk show hosts can and should be rivals for talk market share, but allies in freedom of speech.
