From 8th or 9th grade Earth science ...... learn what the term “isostacy” means relevant to rise in sea levels. Think about an ice cube melting in a glass. It may be pertinent to the discussion to learn about continental ice sheets and sea levels say when the Wisconson glacier covered a good portion of north america. How much of the world’s fresh water is currently locked up in terrestrial ice sheet and why is this important to agriculture, surface water resources and ground water recharge? How many millions of ft3 are bound up in terrestrial ice now, and at what rate is it declining? and why is this relevant?

Can say, the Hudson River’s delta be found in a location that is congruent with sea levels 18000 years ago. What forms geological features such as Fjords? Again, think bout isostacy because I detect a lot of missing information based on your comments.

Further, IF the science is completely wrong and the climate change that we are currently experiencing is due to natural processes yet to be adequately explained by researchers, at what point do we consider energy alternatives in light of known current fossil fuel reserves?? How long can our decedents expect to use what is left of these reserves? and how is this relevant to current population growth curves? Do you have any predictions of the challenges facing those living in a world of 9 billion plus people? Or will some deity finally step in an provide a solution for future humanity? just wondering
