I think long term this propaganda effort by the MSM will backfire. To deny reality that we are in a serious depression and cherry pick statistics is a dangerous thing for Dems to run on in 2010 and 2012. With UE at 10% for Obama to claim the economy is now humming along is worse than Hoover 1931. People will perceive the Dems as out of touch in the best case scenario, or deliberately deceiving them for some Marxists pipe dream in a worse case scenario. I have nothing against gay people but Anderson Cooper being outed as well as Senior Management at Yahoo being proudly homosexual leads me to think the Pink Mafia is firmly in control of the MSM and it’s gone beyond some affection for statism to some gay agenda driven effort to deconstruct our society.

Pretty sure the AP is merely reporting what are, by any measure, impressive numbers. Obama shouldn’t receive sole credit for this, a number of independent factors precipitated these developments, but there is no denying that these are encouraging figures. Look below:

ISM: 55.7

Construction spending: +0.8%

Pending Home Sales: 110.1

The ISM is especially promising, much higher than anyone could have guessed. Let’s not be cynical for cynicism’s sake.
