Jim Moran Calls GOP the "Taliban Ticket"
WaPo ^ | 11/02/09 | Amy Gardner

Always good copy, U.S. Rep. James P. Moran Jr. (D-Va.) likened the Republican ticket in Virginia this year to Afghanistan's radical Taliban movement in comments broadcast Sunday by WAMU radio.

At a get-out-the-vote rally in Fairfax County, Moran said: "I mean, if the Republicans were running in Afghanistan, they'd be running on the Taliban ticket as far as I can see."

Moran was talking about Republicans Robert F. McDonnell for governor, Lt. Gov. Bill Bolling and state Sen. Kenneth T. Cuccinelli II, who is running for attorney general. By some accounts, the three represent the most conservative Republican ticket to run in Virginia in many years. Moran's comments clearly were aimed to motivate Democratic voters to turn out on Tuesday and vote blue.

According to WAMU, McDonnell spokeswoman Crystal Cameron called Moran's remarks "negative" and "vicious." She also said Moran was seeking to rally voters who are unexcited by their own candidates, Democrats R. Creigh Deeds for governor, Jody Wagner for lieutenant governor and Stephen C. Shannon for attorney general.

"Creigh has had a very difficult time rallying his base," Cameron said, "and they're trying to do anything they can to get out the vote on their side."

This is not the first time McDonnell has been compared to the Taliban; in 2003, a liberal columnist for the Daily Press of Newport News dubbed him "Taliban Bob" for his role in ousting a female Circuit Court judge who had been accused by another woman of sexual harassment.

Yet it’s the Democrats who are negotiating with the Taliban.

The Obama Democrats are more willing to negotiate with the Taliban than the GOP.

Actually, since Jim Moran is a proud, card-carrying member of the Party of Slavery, perhaps Jim can discuss how the Democrats, the Party of Slavery, is putting an economic noose around all of our necks to ensure we stay on the Democrat plantation?

“The ramblings of a violent, nasty drunk.”

Not really...

This has been part of the marginalization theme as envisioned by KOS for some time now.

And it’s ESPECIALLY pushed by the gays, MoveOn, and the likes of carville, which tells me it’s been HEAVILY focus-grouped.

The party of the KKK, and Virginia was a hot-spot for Klan terror, Democrats calling others extreme. What a laugh-er -— In days gone by, the Democrat’s KKK used to lynch their white political opponents, and you thought the Democrat’s KKK was only used to keep the blacks on their plantations. Hah ... Nope the KKK was the Democrats basic goto terror group, kill, terrorize and intimidate and and all that stood in their way. I bet Jim still knows some former Klansman.

What? You thought Abe Lincoln formed the KKK?

He’s not a real bright guy, is he? Stupid statements like this make it *quite* clear to the average voter, especially those sitting on the fence, who really holds the extremist views.

Let me be the first to remind this ugly piece of imported Massachutesses dog vomit, that it has recently been reported in the WaPo that midget moran is under an ethics investigation. Jim Moran is one ugly little bastard, both in the flesh and soul. How the hell he ever got elected in VA is beyond me.

Newport News dubbed him "Taliban Bob" for his role in ousting a female Circuit Court judge who had been accused by another woman of sexual harassment.

So now the Moran wing of the Democrat Party is the pro Sexual harassment party, just so long as it homesexual sexual harrasment or perpetrated by a Democrat.

GOP failing elsewhere, but Virginia Republicans are doing it Reagan's way

Independent conservatives endorse Republican slate in the Old Dominion

America’s Independent Party National Committee

November 2, 2009

To the people of Virginia,

The principled Reagan conservatives who make up America’s Independent Party, both in Virginia and across America, urge every citizen of your great State to vote tomorrow for the following experienced, proven Reagan Republicans who are at the head of their party’s statewide ticket:

Bob McDonnell for Governor

http://www.bobmcdonnell.com

Bill Bolling for Lt. Governor

http://www.billbolling.com

Ken Cuccinelli for Attorney General

http://www.cuccinelli.com

Bob, Bill, and Ken are exactly what we're looking for in political leaders in all the states, irrespective of political party. We must begin to elect principled individuals of their character and caliber everywhere or our beloved country will not survive much longer in liberty. Our situation is that serious, and that precarious.

The first step to restoring our republic is a return to first principles. These three men, throughout their years of public service, have clearly demonstrated that they understand the self-evident truths the founders of this nation laid out in our great Declaration of Independence. It is clear that they know that their primary sworn duty in office is to fulfill the stated purpose of our U.S. Constitution, which is "to secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity."

Like Ronald Reagan, Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, and Ken Cuccinelli are fierce defenders of the God-given, unalienable right to life of all innocent human beings, from the first stages of development. They are defenders of liberty, and of the true foundations of that liberty.

This is why McDonnell, Bolling, and Cuccinelli have been added to America's Candidates - AIP’s 'Reagan List'

For these reasons, and many more, we urge all Virginians to do what it takes to elect Bob McDonnell, Bill Bolling, and Ken Cuccinelli tomorrow. Get to the polls and get this job done. Even though these great candidates have run very successful, truly Reaganesque, campaigns and are expected to prevail, you can’t afford to take any chances if you love your great State.

And please make sure you bring along your family and friends!

Thank you!

For Life, Liberty, and the Constitution,

Tom Hoefling
Chairman, America's Independent Party

“The Family Guy” told us that not all of the Taliban are bad.

The writing is on the wall. Appeasement in our lifetime.

This pisses me off.

Conservatives position is clear:
1. We shouldn’t be forced to pay for things that are against our religion
2. We aren’t going to force you to convert or abide by church ethics or anything like that
3. Democrats position is to force people to perform abortions even if it is against their religion

Who the heck is extreme? To me the conservative position is more moderate.

Moderate should mean a position of neutrality not a shove immorality down your throat

It is an inconvenient truth to bring up comparisons to Marxism and Socialism. They aren’t innappropriate, just unpleasant to consider.

Jeremiah Wright is out with a new speech saying how we just don’t understand Marxism.

Shades of Hanoi Jane’s remark that we’d all LOVE to live under Communism if we only knew what it REALLY is.

They don’t even have the conviction of political ideals to dig their heels in and say “there’s nothing wrong with this”.

They lie and say that there is no public funding of abortion in Obamacare.

Why lie if there is nothing wrong with it?

They know they don’t have the numbers. You can’t handle “the truth”.
