Lawmakers are calling on Americans to storm the Capitol on Thursday in an "Emergency House Call on Congress" to stop the House from passing the Democrats' health-care bill this week.

A group of legislators led by Reps. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and Pete Hoekstra, R-Mich., will be holding an emergency town-hall meeting outside the Capitol at 12 p.m. to protest the health-care bill set to hit the House floor. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has indicated that a vote on the bill could take place as soon as Thursday.

Bachmann told WND she is urging citizens to come to Washington and "pay an emergency House call to Congress."

"This is the most effective way we have to kill socialized medicine and to do it this week," she said. "Nothing is more effective at reaching a congressman than having a citizen come to Washington, D.C. – not asking for a handout, not asking for tax money, not asking to take some liberty away from somebody else, but just asking for freedom."

I went to D.C. for 9-12, I have been to a dozen tea party rallies, I have written to editors, I have faxed, I have spread the word, I have done everything I can do...and I will do the Nov.12th tea party in Orlando. I am doing my part...the alternative is civil disobedience.

Let me tell you, this will be big. In Okla. we stopped the evil ERA movement in its tracks by doing this exact same thing. When this group enters and takes their stand in the gallary's, they will be a visual force that can not be denied. Each one of those people will be representing 10 other people, more than that, they will be representing everyone in the TEA PARTY conservative movement. I Applaud them.

Our represenatives thanked us after they voted for giving them the strength to do what was right in their own minds. Wish I could be there.

I agree. The MSM may have ignored the massive crowd on 9/12, but no matter what they ignored, believe that they know we were there. They are afraid of us. They know the people who were there represent the majority in this country, those who have been busy working, paying taxes and taking care of our families while the leftists took over our country. We have awakened. Michelle said on one talk show that if just 10,000 show up, it would make a statement. I hope and pray that all who can make it will make the effort!
