The final push is underway in Virginia and New Jersey, where President Obama has campaigned hard for the Democratic gubernatorial candidates, while New York's hotly contested 23rd Congressional district has attracted conservative leaders and Vice President Joe Biden. Is Tuesday's vote a referendum on President Obama and his administration?
.
Since no link, I take it you’re just taking responses on the thread.
My answer: Yes.
Well if it turns out good for Zero...why YES it is a ref on how great he is doing.
If it turns out bad for Zero....then they don’t REALLY count.
THAT is the MSM MO.
ONLY if the dems win will it be complete acceptance of ears and his policies..
if the reps win, it is meaningless as the people still support ears and his policies..
that’s how the MSM will report it..
No.
The losers that put Obama in office don’t even know there’s an election today. The lemmings will be whipped to a frenzy and turn out en masse in 2012.
You beat me to it. I’m sure most of the MSM have two articles already written; one, if Republican candidates win, it’ll be just “off year election” adjustments. The other, if Democrat candidates win, it’ll be because the country is still “in love” with Obama. Guaranteed.
It really depends on how the democrats in DC take it.
If conservatives and Republicans do poorly, then yes, it is a referendum on Obama and the popularity of his agenda.
If conservatives and Republicans do well, then it doesn’t mean a damn thing.
Bottom line: YES these elections are a referendum on 'The 0ne', but the MSM has a template and will spin it accordingly.
No, I believe they are a referendum on politicians in general.
Yes, it is a referendum on bammy, nancy and harry, and all their little followers.
Isn’t it sad how predictable the MSM has become.
Must run to the polls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WASHINGTON In a very early test of President Barack Obama's political influence, two states are choosing whether to continue Democratic rule while voters elsewhere elect a handful of congressmen and big-city mayors.
Elected just a year ago, the president has spent a considerable amount of time and energy trying to ensure that Democrats win governor's races in Virginia and New Jersey and pick up a GOP-held congressional seat in upstate New York.
In doing so, Obama raised the stakes of a low-enthusiasm off-year election season and risked political embarrassment if any lost.
All three could.

I think this election will be a referendum on voter fraud. I just read a story on FR about the staggering amount of voter fraud on absentee ballots and inelligible voters (12 million). I also heard on Fox last night that Corzine is appealing for the absentee ballots be counted even though a a large amount of those are from dead or relocated voters. I don’t know how this will turm out, but if the Dems win, expect there to be no investigation.
Yes. It IS all about Obama.
