I’ve talked to promoters of abortions who would never get one for themselves or their daughters, but parrot proudly the right to choose as if they’re so much more sophisticated and intelligent than those “narrow-minded religious fanatics.” I see no difference between the ovens in Germany and the abortion industry. And I’ve known too many dear women over the years that have suffered because they were talked into or intiimidated into getting abortions.
I love this logic. I had one of these start a lunch conversation with “You and I will just have to agree to disagree on somethings, like abortion.” I responded “I know, you think killing a fetus is an acceptable method of birth control, I don’t.” OF COURSE, that WAS NOT IT AT ALL. “I would never get one,” she said, “but some people find themselves in a situation..” and I responded, “So they use abortion as a method of birth control.” I think that was the first time she made the connection.
