Obama's Half Brother Recalls Their Abusive Father

China (AP) -- President Barack Obama's half brother has broken his media silence to discuss his new novel -- the semi-autobiographical story of an abusive parent patterned on their late father, the mostly absent figure Obama wrote about in his own memoir.
In his first interview, Mark Ndesandjo told The Associated Press that he wrote ''Nairobi to Shenzhen'' in part to raise awareness of domestic violence.
''My father beat my mother and my father beat me, and you don't do that,'' said Ndesandjo, whose mother, Ruth Nidesand, was Barack Obama Sr.'s third wife. ''It's something which I think affected me for a long time, and it's something that I've just recently come to terms with.''
Like his novel's main character, Ndesandjo had an American mother who is Jewish and who divorced his Kenyan father. The novel, which goes on sale Wednesday by the self-publishing company Aventine Press, is one of several books in the works by relatives of the president.
President Obama's parents separated two years after he was born in Hawaii in 1961. The senior Obama, a Kenyan exchange student, divorced the president's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, in 1964 and had at least six other children in his native Kenya.
For the past seven years, Ndesandjo has been living in the booming southern Chinese city of Shenzhen, near Hong Kong (snip).
Ndesandjo, who said he attended Obama's inauguration as a family guest, declined to discuss his earliest memories of the president or describe their relationship over the years. However, he said he plans to meet his brother in Beijing when the president makes his first visit to China on Nov. 15-18.
''My plan is to introduce my wife to him. She is his biggest fan,'' he said.

this article makes it quite clear Obama Senior left Hawaii on 22nd June, 1962.
Both had cocaine problems as well as problems telling the truth. At least, to the best of my knowledge, Obama is not a rapist.
Is Mark claiming that or is it the party line? Although he talks rarely, I cannot ever remember Mark claiming he was born in Kenya

Odd that he would not give his age. I had found some evidence that Mark may have been born in 1964 in U.S. --- but I need to find my post on this. I remember what I found was strong, but not conclusive.
Ok, so the divorce documents we have seen, the '13' pages where number 11 is missing...must have been fakes?
I only bring that up because Stanley Ann instituted the divorce.
But heck, it's the NEW YORK TIMES! Honestly, there's more interesting reading on a cereal packet.

Maybe there’s some insight to be had about the root of Ubama’s hatred for the traditional family unit.
I can’t see Obama actually saying that in an interview, but it is in Dreams -— the last passage in chap 16:
“Don’t you ever feel like you might be losing
something?”
Mark put down his knife and fork, and for the first time that afternoon his eyes looked straight into mine.
“I understand what you’re getting at,” he said flatly. “You think that somehow I’m cut off from my roots, that sort of thing.” He wiped his mouth and dropped the napkin onto his plate. “Well, you’re right. At a certain point, I made a decision not to think about who my real father was. He was dead to me even when he was still alive. I knew that he was a drunk and showed no concern for his wife or children. That was enough.”
“It made you mad.”
“Not mad. Just numb.”
“And that doesn’t bother you? Being numb, I mean?”
“Towards him, no. Other things move me. Beethoven’s symphonies. Shakespeare’s sonnets. I know-it’s not what an African is supposed to care about. But who’s to tell me what I should and shouldn’t care about? Understand, I’m not ashamed of being half Kenyan. I just don’t ask myself a lot of questions about what it all means. About who I really am.” He shrugged. “I don’t know. Maybe I should. I can acknowledge the possibility that if I looked more carefully at myself, I would…”
For the briefest moment I sensed Mark hesitate, like a rock climber losing his footing. Then, almost immediately, he regained his composure and waved for the check.
“Who knows?” he said. “What’s certain is that I don’t need the stress. Life’s hard enough without all that excess baggage.”
We stood up to leave, and I insisted on paying the bill. Outside we exchanged addresses and promised to write, with a dishonesty that made my heart ache. When I got home, told Auma how the meeting had gone. She looked away for a moment, then broke out with a short, bitter laugh.
“What’s so funny?”
“I was just thinking about how life is so strange. You know, as soon as the Old Man died, the lawyers contacted all those who might have a claim to the inheritance. Unlike my mum, Ruth has all the documents needed to prove who Mark’s father was. So of all of the Old Man’s kids, Mark’s claim is the only one that’s uncontested.”
Again Auma laughed, and I looked up at the picture hanging on her wall, the same picture pasted inside Ruth’s album, of three brothers and a sister, smiling sweetly for the camera.

It is very odd he or his deceased brother’s DOB are not available. Maybe those dates blow holes in 0bama’s Dreams timeline.

The 51-year-old accountant, who was best man at the President's wedding, added: "My brother had such a hectic schedule that day but he still took time out for us."
Abongo Obama, 'the 51 year old accountant' is the eldest son who was six years of age when Obama sr supposedly left Kenya in 1959. That makes the eldest son 56 years of age, not 51.
Mark Ndesandjo is in that group but not identified.

I think more details will be coming out on the serious psychological character pathology sustained by the big O as a result of growing up without a father and being raised mainly by women. He longs to know how a man is supposed to act. He is seething with rage inside at having been abandoned by his father. So who does he align with? Men who use him to advance their own political agendas and get away with it by making him feel accepted as a man by men: Alinsky, Rev Wright, Axelrod. He expresses his anger by getting back at strong successful men - like doctors, bankers, captains of industry, wall street brokers whom he imagine have all the advantages that he never had - most notably a father. The only way he can satisfy himself is by depriving strong and accomplished men from what they have earned using the power of government. Look back in history to how many men who became abusers of power - tyrants - experienced serious father loss and too much of an influence of women in their adolescence. These types self-destruct because there is not enough power in the world to bring father back and to heal the pain. Meanwhile the question for the rest of the country is what will we do to keep ourselves from being terrorized
