WASHINGTON The White House says that Republican wins in two governors' races were not referendums on the president.
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs told reporters Wednesday that voters went to the polls in Virginia and New Jersey to work through "very local issues that didn't involve the president." The presidential spokesman said voters were concerned about the economy.
"I don't think the president needed an election or an exit poll to come to that conclusion," Gibbs said.
By contrast, Gibbs acknowledged that the 2010 midterm congressional elections will be more about the Obama agenda.

Wow. I never thought I’d see the day when something “wasn’t” about The Obama in his own eyes.

They’ll need a tourniquet in 2010 - to stop the hemorrhage from their neck.

It was so local that is why Obama went into NJ five times for Corzine and sent in his campaign people. Guess Christie’s answer was the 700 lawyers spread about NJ looking for voter fraud.
Law and Order candidates trumped the ZERO! Gotta love it!

It's being reported on Fox that Gibbs said the boy-king did not watch the results last night but a special on himself on HBO instead. Anyone else and I would call Gibbs a liar, but I believe he's speaking the truth for once.

It was so local that is why Obama went into NJ five times for Corzine and sent in his campaign people. Guess Christies answer was the 700 lawyers spread about NJ looking for voter fraud. Which is precisely why yesterday was such a disaster for them. Dems in congress now know how worthless Obama stumping for them is.
To: NormsRevenge
Ok. If you say so.
But, I just went to the bathroom and left a BIG Obama in the bowl . . .

That’s right. Everything is about Obama. This tells us just how bad this election is for the WH.

The Obama agenda got a HUGE SLAP-DOWN last night. And the commies know it. The country, after figuring out what Obama was REALLY about, has just begun to speak. This election result was more about Obama and his socialist thuggery than any other single issue.
OK, just keep Pelosi talking — that will be the final stroke for 2010.

Heck they could lose 50 house seats next year and they’d still say the same thing.
