WASHINGTON, Pa. -- Joined by an unlikely ally, Terrell Yarbrough's lawyer fought for his client's life on Wednesday, one day after the Pittsburgh man was found guilty of killing Franciscan University students Aaron Land and Brian Muha. The Washington County jury that convicted Yarbrough of first-degree murder and conspiracy is trying to decide if the 29-year-old East Liberty man should be put to death or spend the rest of his life in prison. Dr. David Hammer testified on Wednesday that Yarbrough was born to a drug-addicted mother who was high while pregnant. As a result, Yarbrough's I.Q., social behavior and academic achievement are low, and tests have proven his mental capacity is limited, Hammer said. Listening to the testimony, Yarbrough stared and showed little emotion in Judge John DiSalle's courtroom. Muha's brother, Chris, told the jury that he thinks Yarbrough should live, so he can acknowledge what he did and try to be a better person in prison and realize the impact of taking two lives.

I’m from Columbus and remember this case vividly since Brian Muha was from here. The scumbags need to be executed, regardless of what the families of the victims say. This was a crime against the state and against humanity.

when murderers like this are young, they con their teachers into thinking they are disabled mentally so that their mothers can get extra money from the state, then when they get a little older, they can point to it as a reason to avoid the death penalty. It’s kind of a win win...

That’s right — the law does not read, ‘and whatever the victim’s relatives and the murderer’s family agree on, goes.’

That’s bunk.

She was drug addicted during pregnancy, and later abused this poor sole, otherwise he would have turned out to be a community organizer or even a plumber. - so it is all her fault.

With two murders, do you get amnesty?

Execute the bastard. He is a threat to humanity as long as he lives.
