There needs to be a serious movement to get Graham out of office.

I can’t imagine what the left is using to blackmail Linsey. Is there anyone who doesn’t feel he sets off the gay-dar?

At least according to his rhetoric of the last couple of weeks of the election, Owens certainly was a better candidate than Scozzafava.

If Sissy Grahamnesty says Owens is better than Hoffman, he is just sticking his delicate little finger in your eye.

Pansy Graham certainly knows a lot about “being out of the mainstream”.

As a SC voter, all I can say is I hope Graham is gone after his next re-election bid.

His support of Cap and Tax alone should be enough to oust him.

Thinking Grahammy actually meant what he said during elections and in his Clinton impeachment sound bites, I believed Lindsey boy would have to be blackmailed into saying the things he's said the last few years.

Now I think he's just being himself and speaking his convictions from the heart. He's safe in his little office and has little to fear from voters.

However, if he is being blackmailed, I hope whatever it is they're using against him is released into the general public so the Graham cancer can be cut out of our governing body. It's killing the republican party and making our Republic sick.

"Ms Lindsay endorses "mainstream" Bill Owens over "out of the mainstream" Doug Hoffman in next year's mid terms."

Since Hoffman garnered almost half the votes cast, he can hardly be considered "out of the mainstream" of that district.

Can't somebody arrange to have Graham haunted by the ghost of Strom Thrumond.

-13 goes REPEATEDLY to New Jersey, and then Corzine loses. -13 doesn't even step once into NY-23, and Owens wins.

Coincidence? I think not.

18 States allow citizens to petition to recall a US senator. They are Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Dakota, Oregon, Rhode Island, Washington and Wisconsin.

A law to alllow recall could be introduced and passed in the state legislature and then signed by the Governor. That would be a huge slap against the weasel.

>>> “A law to allow recall could be introduced and passed in the state legislature and then signed by the Governor.”

...And THIS is the direction that the good folks of South Carolina need to be taking in regards to their ambiguously gay senator. Just beating the NEW Rinos the GOP attempts to inflict us with is NOT enough! We must also go after the RINOS who have been screwing us for years.

Without any political experience or organization Doug Hoffman went from less than 5% to over 45% of the vote in just a few weeks. He was able to this in spite of being attacked consistently by heavily funded members of both major parties and continued attacks in the media that said he was a right wing extremist. Scozzafava received $1 million from the Republicans as well as the party's endorsement and was below 20% support when she dropped out.

Owens received the endorsement and support of the Democrat establishment in NY. He also received extensive help from the unions and from the White House. Vice President Biden traveled to his district to campaign for him.

In addition to this Owens got the support of Scozzafava and her supporters. She endorsed him and campaigned for him making calls to her supporters encouraging them to vote for him.

The political establishment tried to destroy Hoffman. He had no political skills or charisma but simply ran a campaign based on principles. In spite of all this he almost won. This was a remarkable achievement and could not have been accomplished by someone out of the mainstream.

I didn’t take it that.

Besides, is Hoffman already the nominee for 2010? I’m sure they can find a more charismatic conservative candidate to take on and beat Owens. It shouldn’t be that difficult.

When that candidate is chosen, I doubt Graham would endorse Owens, but then, he’s done crazier things.
