Need some help. Was there a Health Care bill voted on in the House a few months back? Or are all health care bills still in the planning stages with no votes on any of them? What was the bill a few months back that about 20 Repubicans voted for? Was that the stimulus bill?
Yes, they passed a bill out of committee, but not out of the house...I think. In the Senate, they have several alternatives working, but no final Senate bill has been forwarded for CBO accounting.
No, of all the doomsday talk of many republicans including some here about “Democrats can pass anything they want”, Pelosi has not been able to get anything passed on this after all this time. Obama wanted this passed in back in July.
This is Pelosi, there is no filibuster in the house. She cant even get 51% of the house.
She is saying Saturday is the day she will call for a vote. It’s October!!
I call it the “McCain wins or we all die” predictions.
On Beck’s show yesterday the Judge Nappy(?) was talking to about something being buried in the stimulus bill back several months ago that was passed..Had to do with health care. If you can get a transcript of yesterdays show...you may find some info there.

Obama has already appointed a 15 member panel.
It is a rationing board for Helathcare.
Also in the stimulus was money funded for
the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology.
It will guide medical decisions at the time and place of care. I called both my Senators to get an explaination of these and nobody had ever heard of it. I requested a letter be sent to me to explain.
