A homemade bomb exploded this morning in public restrooms in Central Park in the Honduran capital.
The blast was felt several feet around, but no injuries were reported.
"He was just explosive, was more than anything to affect people psychologically," said an unidentified official on Radio America. "If I had more explosives and had been people inside (the bathrooms), the consequences would have been worse, he said.
The explosive was left in the men's room and detonated at approximately 11:45 am, causing some material damage to infrastructure located on a slope of the Central Plaza, where they often make massive public events.
The Municipal Police was the first to reach the scene, followed by the elements of the bomb squad.
Near the public health workers, shoe shiners, lottery vendors and newspapers vendors. They are also located several businesses and tourist taxis.
This incident adds to the grenade attack last night suffered the facilities of the station HRN, and that left two people wounded.
I read somewhere that Chavez’ forces were expected to ramp up the attacks. These are pretty puny, though, so that indicates either that Chavez doesn’t have the power, or that Obama has bailed on him because he realizes that it’s a lost cause. Actually, I’d say Hillary has bailed, because Obama has no brains and couldn’t even make a decision at that level.
In any case, this could always change and things could get worse. But if this is the best they can do, I’d say they’re out of luck.
Just over three weeks to go until the election I believe.
I’d say this is just a taste of what the Leftists will do to intimidate not only the interim Government, but the people of Honduras as well.
I worry about election day, and what the Leftists will do to intimidate, coerce the voting public.
In fact King HuGorilla I of Chavezuela warned about “armed groups forming in the honduran mountains”
Send lawyers, guns and money...
T-bomb, maybe?
A bomb, made in Cuba and planted by Venezuelan agents, with the backing of Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin...
Honduras ping

“Several feet around”? A cherry bomb? Sounds like a non-news story.
M-80 down the commode....thats how it starts....
Aw, the iddy bitty terrorist blew up his itty bitty bathroom....that’s so cute......give the itty bitty terrorist his pacifier and his jar of Gerbers. LOL!!
I was thinking this exact same thing.
Seems that Chavez and the 21st century commies are just a bunch of pussies. All talk and whine and no balls. Is that all they’ve got? Back in the 80’s we had the guerrilla and the contras here, both of which used REAL bombs. I think these “terrorists” make both Michelletti and our millitary laugh.
