New York City health officials scrambled to explain themselves Thursday following outraged media reports about bankers who got scarce H1N1 flu vaccines through their employers.
Although there is a longstanding arrangement for employers to provide seasonal flu shots to workers, the city health department was bombarded with calls and television reports about Wall Street workers jumping the line ahead of pregnant women and children.
"It's bad enough that Wall Street crashed our economy and is back to paying out platinum bonuses after taking trillions in taxpayer-funded bailouts and backstops," Service Employees International Union Secretary-Treasurer Anna Burger said in a statement. "But purposely endangering the health of millions of Americans during a public health crisis crosses all lines of decency."
The shortage of H1N1 vaccines has frayed some nerves, and public health departments across the country say they will not be able to meet the bulk of the demand until December or January.

Now we know this Administration’s priorities. Swine Flu vaccine for terrorists at Guantanamo and executives at Goldman Sachs before ordinary citizens. Their is a strange consistency in this position though.

I got to the SEIU rep commenting and decided I’m in favor of anything she’s against.
This is real FREAKING simple: Wall St. voted for Obama, so they get H1N1 flu shots.
They can have my dose.

I recieved my first flu shot in a very long time 2 years ago then my feet and legs started shaking constantly soon after.
It’s almost gone now but i will never get a flu shot again.
Still not getting the flu shot and I will bet it was a regular flu shot.

How is an American endangers others --- even millions of Americans --- by getting a flu shot? This unionist is effectively saying that Wall Street workers are NOT Americans.

I believe you but people here will tell you that you are nuts.
I will NEVER get another flu shot. I had a horrible reaction both times.
The Federal reserve also received doses(from article). It may be more a matter of who runs the country.
