When I saw this, my first thought was that it was something recorded and he didn’t know about the shootings. A shout out? What an ass of a commander in chief. This is as dumb as something Biden would have done. Stand up, Chuck.
The first words out of his mouth should have been for everyone to join him in bowing their heads for a moment of silence.

I watched with tears in my eyes, having recently moved from Ft Hood...it was all I could do not to throw the remote control through the TV. No words express my feelings towards Obama’s behavior right now. For shame.
Due to my hubby’s job when we were at Hood, I knew all of the Civilian Police staff at least by face.

I noticed even Fox News in a report from the WH (by Major Garrett, twice) characterized it as the beginning of his remarks. I saw the live version, unedited, and he did his prepared remarks first, including the shout-out, and only at the end, did he mention Fort Hood.....
