I think his first shoutout was to a veteran in the audience and then he thanked his cabinet and other staff. The whole tone was light...completely at odds with what one would expect given the tragic events at Ft. Hood. Then he moved into comments about Ft. Hood and, as others have pointed out, he seemed to lack any emotion about it. It was definitely odd.
Thank you, I now must vomit.
“he seemed to lack any emotion about it. It was definitely odd.”
Sort of like - when he talks about his grandma with no emotion?
Or shows no emotion when a nurse describes a preemie surviving an abortion?
Or shows no emotion concerning Iranian citizens?
Or when he tells a young woman he would have just given her grandma the pain pill?
This is strange. It almost looks like he didn’t even know about the tragedy until he read it on the note cards. Just the sound of nervousness in his voice.
If Obama wasn’t such a jackass I would feel sorry for him.
You got it exactly right. I seriously thought Fox had the wrong conference on. I shut the tv off because I could not take Dear Leader for more than a few seconds. I sensed ZERO compassion, caring, sensitivity, concern, ANYTHING. Is he trying to show us how much he hates/scorns the military?? Is he trying to get booted after one term if not sooner???
I want to throw up over his nonchalance and scorn.
