Disgusting example of why Obama will go down in history as the worst Commander in Chief in our countries history. For him to get up and talk for almost two minutes about native american rights and give 'shout outs' to people attending is appalling.
The point of his appearance there was changed the instant he found out that men and women at Ft Hood were killed by a crazed gunman. His FIRST duty was to the men and women in uniform, and the fact he seemed so casual and unaffected by the tradgedy was very revealing. The man has no conscience, it is so obvious from watching the youtube. He has no expression and seems cheerful at the start of his remarks.

Obama was told about the Ft.Hood massacre BEFORE he even went to that meeting today!
Fox reported he was told at the White House - and THEN went to the Native American Conference - anyway!!!
AND THEN spent the 2 to 3 minutes doing his campaign stop type of speil before even mentioning the Ft. Hood massacre!
Why would he do this? (besides being a POS).
The Native American Tribes/reservations are BIG RESOURCES for Dem party campaign cash - as they get it from their CAsinos and, as we learned in the Clinton years, it is directed into Dem party campaign coffers!!!
In other words - this “conferecne” was basically a fundraiser for DEM Campaign coffers....which is, IMHO, why he went ahead and did his “shout out” comments BEFORE talking about the slaughter at Ft. Hood!!!!

My God! Nearly two and a half minutes before mentioning the murders of 12 soldiers, the wounding of 31 others so that he can praise these imbeciles in the audience????? What a freaking moron. I’ve never been more ashamed of my country that I am now with this poor excuse for a human in the WH.
One thing for sure, the shootings certainly took the Capitol protests off the radar tonight.
I believe that Obama’s seemingly inept remarks were intentional and calculated. The long delay before mentioning the shooting contains a message to both the military and the media — what happened today at Ft. Hood is not important.
Yes, he is, and we may have him under *almost enough* pressure. His handlers must be very unhappy with him.

This arrogant, pompous ass is really straining the American nation. His mad march to marxism continues unabated, and he still can’t muster the courage to address the US military with the respect owed to those great men and women.
These remarks are symptomatic of his values and his morals; he plays to the crowd even while knowing of the horrific violence at Ft. Hood, and then gives it passing lip service as part of his larger remarks.
I’ve seen enough of this gasbag; a stuffed shirt in an empty suit; full of himself and ONLY himself.

I saw a story on this Native American conference and it made me laugh. There are 500+ tribes, and the White House invited ONE PERSON from each tribe. I can only imagine there were some waaay fun knock-down-drag-out tribal council meetings to see which chief got to attend.

I’m sick of hearing about Bush’s so-called Pet Goat moment. He showed great presence of mind in taking a few minutes to make a calm getaway and not frighten the children.
Obama, on the other hand, has no real core. There is no ‘there’ there. He doesn’t know how he should act until someone tells him. If he was as devastated by this tragedy, he would not have been able to casual around in his usual campaign mode for almost 3 minutes before even acknowledging it.
Even then his words sounded scripted and hollow.
