Age: 39
Education: 1997 graduate of Virginia Tech University. Received doctorate in psychiatry from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md.
Career: U.S. Army psychiatrist. As of Oct. 13, he had less than a year of clinical practice. From 2003 through this summer, was an intern, a resident and then a fellow at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. Also, he was listed by the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress as a fellow for disaster and preventive psychology.
Commissioned as a captain, he was promoted to major in May.
Personal information: He was single and had no children, and he showed no sign of physical or mental problems in examinations as recent as September.
Religion: He attended the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring, Md., and was devout, said Faizul Khan, a former imam at the center. He attended prayers at least once a day, seven days a week, often in his Army fatigues, Khan said.
In his own words: One of the Web postings that authorities say he wrote: "To say that this soldier committed suicide is inappropriate. Its [sic] more appropriate to say he is a brave hero that sacrificed his life for a more noble cause. Scholars have paralled [sic] this to suicide bombers whose intention, by sacrificing their lives, is to help save Muslims by killing enemy soldiers."

So, he isn’t Amish then?
And is a muslim.
We need know nothing further.
Is six years normal for an Army doctor to get promoted from O-3 to O-4?
I am looking for a history breakdown of his medical and military career, he is missing some years. It took too to finish his education. I wonder if he had took trips to the Middle East? Something smells here.
Who are you talking about? Obama or the terrorist?
Found this on another forum, a screencap of his AKO profile;

Anyone shed some light on the groups? at the bottom right? Seems a bit peculiar for a med to be browsing tank specs and such.
OK, can someone please tell me if it is:
Nidal Malik Hasan
or
Malik Nidal Hasan?
Even Fox News has been showing it both ways. Or are first and middle names interchangable?
I this looks normal to me since he just finished school. I wonder why he didn’t get Board-Certified on the Army’s dime, don’t you normally do that during a Fellowship? Also, most Fellowships are not done at the same hospital that you did your residency at, but the Army could be different.
I am only 3 years older than he is, yet graduated college in 1989. What the hell did he do with those missing years? There is our answer!
He has two brothers, one living in Virginia and another in Jerusalem, his cousin Nader Hasan said.
I wonder if he left a will. You know, something like this.
Both, but I think it is more likely that we will get the Terrorist’s info. Have you noticed that they both share some of the same pattens of life.
Wow, I guess that homeland security report was right about terrorists coming out of the military.
Maybe the idiots, boobs and clowns in the Obama administration should start profiling, however, and get the muslim scum out of the military so it can start FIGHTING terrorism again.
And I say this as an American of Middle Eastern descent who will gladly get out of line if some TSA screener has heartburn over my name, if it means they’re paying attention.
Good, it means we can try and kill him again.
He was probably studying outside of Jalalabad or South Waziristan.
been looking for that info too. This guy had a security clearance so someone knows this info. All officers have to get a secret or better and this guy would be majorly flagged for investigation due to his overseas connections.
For all the rules he lays out, he doesn’t say anything about not pissing on his grave!
OK, can someone please tell me if it is:
Nidal Malik Hasan
or
Malik Nidal Hasan?
Nidal Malik Hasan. According to the Army press release announcing his promotion from captain to major.
Definitely
