Charlie Crist: revisionist historian

Isn't it funny how quickly politicians abandon their original positions after being on the wrong side of an issue is used against them? Charlie Crist is the latest culprit of the phenomenon, revisionist history.

During an appearance yesterday on CNN, Crist had this to say about the president's stimulus package:

"I didn't endorse it. I didn't even have a vote on the darn thing. But I understood that it was gonna pass and I wanted to be able to utilize it for the benefit of my fellow Floridians."

Are you sure you didn't support the stimulus Governor Crist?

Because if you didn't, why did the St. Petersburg Times run this story back in February?

Since he took office he’s been on vacation far more than he’s been on the job.

That's a great stand on the situation, as far as it goes. But it's just so much BS when you know his history on the subject. I don't know if they have ‘papers’ for RHINO’s like they do dogs and cats to prove their pedigree, but this man is a purebred RHINO, full-blooded, through and through.

It shouldn't be that hard to make a RHINO ranking sheet. List the various proclivities of a RHINO and just go down the list marking those that are dead sure marks of the RHINO. Starting with support for Sarah Palin! Miss that one and you don't even need to finish completing the form.

Seriously, there's probably a dozen things that are common to most RHINO’s. And I don't like ANY of them.

All Floridians have to make up their own minds about Suntan Charlie. I’ve been watching him for years and I’ve pegged him as an unprincipled opportunist and there is nothing he or anyone else could ever do or say to change that opinion.

I’d have no problem believing the news media could botch such a story, and I’m sure Crist immediately set them straight. Right, Crist? Crist?
