The Washington Post this afternoon reported "President Obama delivers remarks on Ft. Hood shooting at end of tribal leaders conference." The transcript begins:
SPEAKER: PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA
[*] OBAMA: "Please, everybody, have a seat. Let me first of all just thank Ken and the entire Department of the Interior staff for organizing just an extraordinary conference."
"I want to thank my Cabinet members and senior administration officials who participated today. I hear that Dr. Joe Medicine Crow (ph) was around, and so I want to give a shout out to that Congressional Medal of Honor winner. It's good to see you."
Ah, the dangers of giving shout outs without a teleprompter. Crow is not a Medal of Honor recipient. As noted by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society:
Crow's name is not included on the Society's Medal of Honor recipient list. He was, however, awarded the Medal of Freedom, the nation's highest civilian honor, in August.
Obama, often described as "cerebral" by the mainstream media, should know the difference between the Medal of Honor and the Medal of Freedom, especially since he personally awarded the latter to Crow.
Stand up....
TOTUS trumps POTUS.
The medal recognizes an act or acts of heroism and is awarded, but the recipient is usually referred to as winner.
We will never know of all of the acts of bravery that merit the award but were never documented or submitted for the MOH.
He should have given him a Nobel.

we can't POSSIBLY expect this hyper-typical far-left socialist POS to know this (or hardly anything else not Marxist or black nationalist in nature) or really care one wit for military history, tradition, or the fine people that have served, are serving, or ever will serve.

He also called Ft Hood a “base” when it is a “post”.
“O” was packaged like a new cereal and foisted onto the American public scene. He has done NOTHING to justify his handlers’ opinion of him and continues to prove, DAILY, that he has NO fitness for the Presidency.
You would think that at some point he'd sit down with an some kind of basic ‘how-to’ book to avoid looking like a tourist in the WH. You can take what this clown knows about America and stuff it into the navel of a flea, and still have room for a galaxy!!!

This morning I truly thought my head would explode. Turned on the radio, WABC, and there was IMUS with a reporter speaking about our wonderful Comforter in Chief and the wonderfully emotional speech he gave after the shooting.
Next I hear IPUS saying how wonderful that O went to Dover that night.
