Getty Images President Obama didn't wait long after Tuesday's devastating elections to give critics another reason to question his leadership, but this time the subject matter was more grim than a pair of governorships.
After news broke out of the shooting at the Fort Hood Army post in Texas, the nation watched in horror as the toll of dead and injured climbed. The White House was notified immediately and by late afternoon, word went out that the president would speak about the incident prior to a previously scheduled appearance. At about 5 p.m., cable stations went to the president. The situation called for not only his trademark eloquence, but also grace and perspective.
But instead of a somber chief executive offering reassuring words and expressions of sympathy and compassion, viewers saw a wildly disconnected and inappropriately light president making introductory remarks. At the event, a Tribal Nations Conference hosted by the Department of Interior's Bureau of Indian affairs, the president thanked various staffers and offered a "shout-out" to "Dr. Joe Medicine Crow -- that Congressional Medal of Honor winner." Three minutes in, the president spoke about the shooting, in measured and appropriate terms. Who is advising him?

The worst thing about all this is that in spite of what this guy is showing of himself, there are still people, like my middle step daughter and her younger sister, who thinks this guy is a water walker ( as we used to say in the service of someone who was clearly above the rest)and refuses to see that the in the case of one, that the impending loss of her home is directly related to the democrat party, ignoring the warnings of the Bush administration about the housing mess, that got us into this situation. We are on the road to hell and they still think this guy is a saviour!.
I believe what you are saying is correct. Barry is a puppet for something even more evil than him, and when they are through with him, they will eliminate him to REALLY throw the country into turmoil, to finish it off.
...the normal, legally-elected way, at least. There'll be martial law, actively provoked by the WH in response to some "event" (an unruly march on DC, perhaps, with unruliness brought on by infiltrating leftist poseurs) by then, and the 2012 elections will be postponed, with "nasty ole' conservative" activists (viz. FR types) and talk-show host types being dramatically shut down and (arrested and) sent off for debriefing (and re-education). The violent response from Barry will be short-lived, thankfully, though at great expense, I suspect.

On election night, I saw a clip of him departing AF1 with Corzine, and it seemed that the salute he gave then was... an inconvenience. Compared to President Bush who was always crisp, smile on his face, relayed respect for those serving.

Many have said how they view him as not taking things seriously and that he is out of touch with average Americans.
More and more are asking about his wife too and why has she not done anything but vacation.

People are losing their jobs and I know quite a few, a couple are being foreclosed and pone elderly has no electricity because she cannot afford her electric bill and this congress keeps going on about health care
