This is the question that has been floating around all pro-vaccine, safe-vaccination and anti-vaccination groups for a very, very long time. Today, I am going to prove, at least with one vaccine, if it is safe or not. The proof is in the numbers that I received and researched through the VAERS (Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.)

What scares me is the fact that Gardasil has been approved for boys and we now have the devastation that surrounds Cervarix to deal with. When is this madness going to stop? What needs to happen is for you to tell your friends to call their legislators in DC every day until a Congressional hearing is held on this topic of HPV vaccines ...

What I also find that is interesting is that the investigative reporters from the major news media did not pick up on this. It takes a lay person like myself to do their jobs and research these facts.

The question is not whether or not vaccines are safe.

The question is whether or not they are with the risk for the disease.

2 vaccines:

DPT - for us it was worth the risk because my daughter almost died of a respiratory illness when they were babies. The doctors said they would probably die if they caught whooping cough, and we live in an area with increased instances of whooping cough. The risk of getting whooping cough and dying from it were greater than the risk of problems from the vaccine.

Gardisil - My daughters are only 12 and are not sexually active. They have 0 risk of getting HPV. The risk for problems from the vaccine are much greater than the risk from getting it.

Every vaccine is different, and every situation is different. You have to look at the risks versus the benefits.
