Witnesses to Thursday's massacre at Fort Hood said alleged shooter Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan appeared calm and shouted "Allahu Akbar!" before opening fire at a crowd of young soldiers, pausing only to reload before he was taken down by a female officer who is being hailed as a hero.
SNIP... The massacre ended when Hasan was shot several times by a civilian security guard. Hasan survived the shootout, but ABC News has learned that he has been left paralyzed by his injuries.

Cone said wounded first responder Sgt. Kimberly Munley, who exchanged gunfire with Hasan and managed to shoot him four times despite being shot herself, put a stop to the carnage with her quick thinking and willingness to go head-to-head with the gun-wielding officer.
"She was quite effective, one of our most impressive young policemen," Cone said. "She walked up and basically engaged him. I think, certainly, this could've been far worse."
Cone said Munley spent Thursday night calling her fellow co-workers from her hospital bed to make sure everyone was OK.

This is not the ending he would have wanted. He was fully expecting to be killed. Instead, he was paralyzed by a girl.

I heard some "talking head" on FOX this AM saying that he hoped the creep would be tried in the civilian court system! I almost choked on my coffee.
This is an individual in the active military who shot and killed active duty military members (and perhaps others) on a military post/base.
And this idiot suggests he be tried as a "civilian"????

Army has three options at Ft Leavenworth. Hanging, lethal injection and electric chair. My only complaint is that they will likely put him in the medical wing or in D block for his own protection.
Might not be the best class of soldiers at the fort but they will flat make you pay if you turn on your own. In federal prison, child abusers are the lowest. In the USDB, traitors or those that turn on their fellow soldiers are the lowest.
If that isn’t sublime justice, I don’t know what is. Islam is a religion of fools. They treat women like cattle or slaves, not even worthy of going to pray along side the men. They deserve what they’ll get in the end.

The UCMJ has the death penalty for capital crimes. It always has.
And the UCMJ does not have to get the entire civilian judicial system including ACORN and the ACLU and the liberal Supreme Court and all the rest...involved.
