Military hails 2 heroes from Ft. Hood rampage

...The top commander at Fort Hood is crediting a civilian police officer for stopping the shooting rampage that killed 13 people at the Texas post. Lt. Gen. Bob Cone also hailed a young Army nutritionist who helped wounded victims.

Both women heroically intervened despite being shot. Cone said Friday that Fort Hood police Sgt. Kimberly Munley and her partner responded within three minutes of reported gunfire Thursday afternoon. Cone said Munley shot the gunman four times despite being shot herself.

Officials said Munley was in stable condition. Cone said, "It was an amazing and an aggressive performance by this police officer."

[ ...snip...]

Cone also hailed Amber Bahr, 19, as an "amazing young lady." The commander told NBC's TODAY show that the nutritionist put a tourniquet on a wounded soldier and carried him out to medical care. And only after she had taken care of others did she realize she had been shot, he said.

On Thursday, her mother, Lisa Pfund, told the Sheboygan Press that she spoke briefly to Bahr after she was taken to a community hospital....

America will always have her heroes, even when our government has been taken over by thugs.

My daughter is a huge Battlestar Galactica fan and she said, "If only Starbuck had been there." Apparently she was and kicked ass.

Photobucket

I served with several women in the Army and while there were a couple that were a bit too girly for the service, there were some that were just as hardcore, just as fearless and just as capable as any male soldiers. There were two that I am sure would have been deadly, stone cold killers who would have yanked hearts from chests and eaten them. Starbuck would have been proud of those two.

Michelle will invite the ‘girls’ to visit her vegetable garden and have some tea.

I wonder what she thinks, she can't possibly be unaware of all the blunders her hubby makes - like yesterday, the shennanigans of him doing "Shout Outs" to his buddies in the crowd ... perhaps she finds a few of his social gaffees to be a bit "stinky."

>>>>>>So will there be hate crime charges against Nidal Malik Hasan?<<<<<<

For killing 13 Americans? NOOOOOOO.

But the ones that called him ‘camel jockey’ will surely be investigated for hate speech.

It won’t be a Texas court case, it will be in a military court.

I keep waiting to hear that someone like Oprah or Dr. Phil has scheduled a whole bunch of experts in bullying to discuss the Fort Hood Massacre -- yeah, so far I have not yet heard the word 'bully' or the word, 'bullying.'

I'm sure the MSM won't be long in advancing it, though.

The poor guy, that doc was bullied and we all know what VICTIMS of bullying do, right?

That would make sense...Does the military justice system have capital punishment?

Hi again, cups.

Freeper Logic n'Reason explained it this way to me:

Logic n' Reason to hennie pennie:

But... but surely this military court will NOT be televised live on Court TV, right?

>>>> "You are absolutely correct.

BTW: you can, if you want to read a great deal, google "UCMJ" and "military court trial procedures" and find out a bunch." <<<<

AND:

>>>> "The UCMJ has the death penalty for capital crimes. It always has.

And the UCMJ does not have to get the entire civilian judicial system including ACORN and the ACLU and the liberal Supreme Court and all the rest...involved.

It's trial, judgement, execution. " <<<<<

ROFLOL, forgive me for laughing, or join me.
Nidal Malik Hasan, a muslim, was shot down by two little girls?
God does have a sense of humor.

I pray for speedy recovery, mental and physical, to these wonderful heroic Young Ladies. God bless them!

I am unsure of the age of the policewoman who shot Dr. Hasan four times, but she looks to be in her 20s.

The other woman mentioned in this article is aged 19 and she is a nutritionist in the army. She put a tourniquet on one soldier, and carried him to safety, and then she returned and got other soldiers to safety. It was only later, that Amber Bahr suddenly realized that she, too, had been shot and was profusely bleeding.

I still don't know her age, but policewoman Sgt. Munley is all of 5 foot 4 inches tall.

Woman who stopped Fort Hood rampage is Hoggard grad, former Wrightsville Beach N.C. officer

I am so glad you gave these heroes a thread of their own.

If I had not first heard the Texas Police say she was ok, I would have thought the lady cop was dead as reported.

But then I should not be surprised, for the communist manifesto, does not support heroes.

And listening to liberals define a hero, is amazing, for to them there is no such thing as a real hero, the most common statement they will make is “not a hero, just did the job they are paid to do!!”

And I invent new cuss words every time I hear them.

Though the lady who shot the traitor did a brave and workmanlike job and we are all proud of her, I can’t help thinking that MPs aren’t better suited to policing military bases.

Is this a cost thing? I don’t see how it could be cheaper to use civilians than to draft some guys out of the ranks and put armbands on them.
