President Barack Obama said on Friday the jump in the unemployment rate to 10.2 percent in October was a "sobering" figure that underscored the economic challenges ahead.

Note to Obama: When Robert Reich (for heaven’s sake) says you’re spending too much time on healthcare and not enough time on jobs...Dude, it’s time to remember it not all about YOU. You’re making your own party nervous. They’re starting to envision a House and Senate that’s Democrat-free.
Sobering? This should have been a good solid kick in the gluteus maximus, hard enough to cause nosebleed.
There is no need for the stimulus, if this is the outcome anyway. Repeal it. Now. Today. At least that will go far to reduce future deficits.
Pay attention to the REAL problems of this country, not some fanciful idea that we “don’t have access to health care”.

A year and a half ago a 5% unemployment rate was an unqualified disaster and failure of leadership.
10% is only sobering now? After spending a trillion and a half dollars?
