I quoted the passage from the article posted at the top of this thread (some of us actually read the whole article, not just the excerpt). Is it accurate? I have no way of knowing, but if it’s even close to accurate, I fear for the safety of the surviving soldiers, when they encounter violent situations overseas that call for quick reactions.
No, I certainly didn't say that. But I'm not a trained soldier who's about to be deployed to a combat zone. I'm not "knocking" them, but rather expressing concern about the adequacy of their training for the sort of situations they're about to be shipped off to face.
Really.......I am sure the soldiers will be grateful for your concerns about the adequacy of their training. I hope no soldier reads your nonsense.

I said it Friday and I’ll say it again, blame the damned anti-McCarthyite show trial of the 1950s in which Communist sympathizers expressed phony outrage that a member of the goverment would accuse members of OUR military and OUR state department of serving a foreign power and holding anti-American interests at heart.
We know that there are bound to be some traitors in the US military. Goes back to the founding of this country.
The seriousness of the charge doesn’t bear interest in today’s politcally correct charged environment. It was the Soviets who coined the phrase “politically correct”. And it is killing this nation.
