Mrs Munley was one of the "first responders" who returned fire after army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan went on the rampage at the sprawling Fort Hood base in Texas.
She shot Hasan four times but was herself wounded in the gun battle. Her condition is now stable, according to military officials.
"They both exchanged fire and both were wounded," said Col John Rossi during a press conference at the giant base. "Her efforts were superb." The colonel also praised "the heroic efforts of our great soldiers at the scene".
The police officer has been praised for her bravery and for preventing what could have been an even worse massacre.

We need to change the language. I laugh about all the descriptions of this incident.
Words are used like shootings , killings , ( couched in terms as if the victims could shoot back.)
This happened at a med facility where there was a long cue for flu shots and other medical processing.The perpetrator calmly got to his feet , reached into his jacket, drew his 5.7 mm FN pistol and calmly started walking down the rows of people , pointing his weapon and shooting them calmly, point blank, in cold blood.
This was not “shootings” This was not “killings.” This was genocidal execution. These human beings were dispatched as if they were animals.One woman was 6 months pregnant.
TIME TO TELL THE TRUTH. GENOCIDAL EXECUTION is what this was.

Munely is a hero. She JUST HAPPENED to be walking by as the shooting was happening, a gift from God, an avenging angel who saved a lot of lives.

Its disgusting... by now this would have been called out for what it was, under the previous administration. An act of ISLAMIC terror, perpetrated by an ISLAMOFASCIST, who infiltrated our military as a sleeper cell! But right now, we hear nothing. We pretend that Nidal Hasan Mallik just decided that it might be fun to go on a turkey shoot, and accidentally shot people because hes short sighted.
All AMERICAN soldiers should be allowed to carry side arms to defend themselves from Muslim agents who have infiltrated the military.

So Chrissy Matthews and Larry King and Dr. Phil and all those PC morons will shout down a soldier (as the latter two did on the fossil's show last night) who observes the simple FACTS about how this was a planned attack by a Muslim on the defenders of American lives and rights and liberties.

I suggest that Sgt. Munley remain extra alert when in the vicinity of members of the ROP. White Christian woman shooting a Muslim man — not very hallal in their eyes.

Lieutenant-General Robert Cone, Fort Hood’s commanding officer.
All stateside military bases are pretty much like that. Oh you can take a shotgun or a rifle to the range, in some cases you have to register it first (you did until a few months ago on Ft. Hood). But generally speaking the Military, especially the Army, does not trust troops in garrison with guns. The guns are there, but locked up in the unit's arms room, which doesn't do them much good if they are accross post from their unit when the need arises.
I think a good compromise would be to allow E-5 and above, W-3 and above and O-3 and above to be armed, in fact require them to be armed. There will generally be enough of those folks around when the need arises.
Actually Lt.Gen Cone relaxed some of the restrictions that had been in place for a long time. No nearly enough of course, but relax them he did.
If only pork grease was a firearm lubricant.

I respectfully disagree. No one who knows what this is about would allow Barak Obama into the White House.
They were determined to have anyone but another Republican. That’s how Obama got elected.
But I still think most people know what’s going on—even in the Ft. Hood situation with the muslim Hasan-—regardless of how the TV heads try to distort it.
I would venture to say even most Democrats deep down realize this is a muslim’s revenge, though they might not say it out loud.

Remember the famous incident during Pearl Harbor, when Navy men had to get past an objecting SK and break into an arms locker because they didn't have the correct chit signed and countersigned by the right warm bodies? They were correct to toss that crap out the window, but in peacetime the regs go right back in.
Might just be a little divine retribution -- first against the Klintonx, and then the Dems later, and later still, unless we are very fortunate and/or more virtuous than we've heard about, against the whole country as well.
