The House tries to pass Obamacare in a big hurry, breaking how many Constitutional rules/regulations??
FOX news coverage can be seen online at http://www.blinkotv.com/ (select "HD Test")
Let them. The more they do this, the more they divide the country.

Whatever happened to the 72 hour promise?
What’s with Wendell Goler on FNC still using the 47 million uninsured figure (WRONG)...and saying that BO will be remembered as the first black Pres(correction: half, and Muslim)to have passed historic legislation as important as Medicare and SS??? Hurl alert...
Today, people are going to quickly learn that elections matter.
Up in smoke.
Rules, promises, ethics, honesty, etc don’t matter when there’s an opportunity to enact a massive new entitlement and a monument to themselves.
He lied. His campaign promises were more conservative than McCains.
"The end justifies the means."
Please Let your REPRESENTATIVE know your OPPOSITION to this bill: HR 3962

Aren’t they voting on an ammendent or rule first regarding abortion?
If all of the Republicans would vote ‘no’, the bill would go down in flames because the conservative Dems wouldn’t support the final version.

This should pass because Obama is 1/2 black?
I agree, Republicans should vote against the Stupak amendment and force the democrats to vote for public funding in the final bill.
I know... You think neither the democratic process, nor capitalism are worth a damn. But you cannot present a political/economic system that works one whit better anywhere!!!
I lay this all at the feet of the people that voted these retards in office as well as the type of “conservatives” that blame the GOP for everything because they don’t want to mess with the communists. Find another scapegoat.
Who is "they"? The RNC deserves a lot of criticism for lots of crap all right but a huge part of the blame lies with voters themselves. They put McCain in there and elected Obama. People whine about RINO politicians but there are RINO politicians because there are RINO voters. You won't see a Jeff Sessions elected Senator in Maine.
Reagan was able to reach these disperate factions and people and pull them in. We need a candidate like that that can suck voters into the tent because without the voters themselves in your camp you have nothing.
I’m watching it on CSPAN and these liars are pissing me off so bad I’m tempted to grab the shotgun and blow the damn TV right through the living room wall.
But hubby is taking a nap and that would likely wake him up LOL.

Try the ignorant kool-aide drinking voters!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some republican with half a clue who can speak off the cuff needs to get face time and plainly talk about why this is wrong and is certainly wrong for now. That idiot cardiologist who always speaks with the slicked down hair has the charisma of a noodle.
If the repubs don’t find someone who can just flat tell the American people, without a speech or teleprompter, that they agree we need reform and that they have put out a reasonable plan and talk some common sense...it’s over.
When are the planning the “vote” because now they are still in the “debate” phase.
I hear you!!
Charlie Rangel accusing Republicans of not having any compassion, blah blah blah—hey, Charlie! Why doncha use some of that tax money to pay for those people in your district?!
Arrrggh.
Could be any time, supposedly 4 hours of debate, but since the Republicans are basically powerless, Dingell could call it at any time I figure!

Sorry, not Dingell—whoever’s chairing this right now, don’t know his name.
Your memory is a bit faulty on Iraq and much of the past eight years. Bush was clearly not perfect, but he was quite competent. I am displeased with many things he did, but your description is with worthy of the Daily Kos.
RE: Iraq, it was not a far right position. It was a continuous policy dating back to 1998 under Clinton. Support was widespread on both sides until the Dems got their butts kicked in 2002 mid-terms and made the war political.
I hate seeing otherwise smart people re-writing history alongside the the left-wing.
“So now the pendulum is swinging to the other extreme”
What other extreme is that?
You are correct.
Yep, they had better not take the bogus bait. Did you hear Boehner? Sounds like he's having nunofit. Hope the rest don't fall for it either.
I hope you’re wearing flame resistant undies.
Crap, I’ve lost my CSpan connection—anything good going on?
Not enough no votes yet. The Rats have 40 no votes to give away to their Blue Dog friends and will spread them around to then get others.
It’s really deep trouble. But then again, the whole country is in trouble. But that never stopped marxists from fulfilling their agenda.
Do recall once Lenin gave the masses a break with a temporary NEP rule that allowed people to buy and sell food. That kept the country from collapsing. Then the marxists went right back to destroying everyone who got in their way.
Look at the vacant eyes of Nancy Pelosi and do you see anything other than the desire for power?
This is all about centralizing power to the State. No one believes the lie remotely this will cut health care costs. It won’t. Everyone will be hit and hit hard. Your insurance company will spike its prices before its inevitable collapse.
But then again, that’s the plan.
George Soros is running this country. He’s an invited friend of the White House. And you are the enemy.
Don’t forget it.
I do. And I’m not altogether thrilled considering the bailout and the illegal alien scam.
But not long ago I said we all would so I feel okay about that.
That’s 25
I wonder who has been designated to get it up to the 41st vote and then lay down their career for Pelosi?
(need 41 No’s if Pubbies indeed vote as a block...as promised)
What exactly is going on here... 40 dems voted NO?
LOL, that’s an insult to Visitors EVERYWHERE.
So is the vote still on for 6 p.m.? And is it true that the Dems have the votes?
On the “abortion agreement”, which Democrats have crafted, the Washington Post writes:
“Under the agreement, anti-abortion Democrats will be permitted to offer an amendment on the House floor to the health-care overhaul bill. The amendment would prohibit a new government-run insurance plan created by the health-care bill from offering to cover abortion services, congressional sources said. It also would block people who received federal subsidies for the purchase of health insurance from buying policies that offered coverage for abortions. “
If the amendment does as WaPo claims, could it pass? I don’t think it will. When does not pass, remember that you will have RATs who claim they are “pro-life” who will tell voters they “supported” the “pro-life” amendment before they voted to give federal dollars for abortion.
Those RATs, who vote for federal funding for abortion after they vote against it, are lying to you if they say they are “pro-life”. They vote to force Americans to pay for abortions. I think of a sign at Michele Bachmann’s “House Call” this week.
“Abortion is not health care!”
I don’t understand the point of voting on this amendment, which I think would have to be pulled out of the final bill to get liberal votes. It won’t fly politically next year to say they voted against abortion funding before they voted for it. It’s really hard to follow all these political manipulations in Washington. If the bill loses, that’s great, and if it passes then we have to wrap if around the democrats’ necks in the 2010 campaign and use it to help us recapture the House.
