Also, he probably heard Dubya was going there and was afraid he’d be upstaged in the nethusiasm the troops would surely show for Dubya versus the polite but cold greeting nd stares he’d get.

With Zero’s constant snubbing of the armed forces, there is no way I’m going to forget what a true leader is.
I have a grandson in Afghanistan, and one who recently returned from Iraq. I’m a military wife, widow, mother and grandmother and Zero can’t teach me how to be patriotic or how to be anything less than who and what I am.
I keep praying that Zero continues to show his true (Islamic) colors. His total disregard for the lives of the people who protect his office is more than shameful. GWB did Barry’s job today because the latter couldn’t be bothered. Neither could the shrew he calls his wife.
His willing slaves that are part of his liehouse team supplying him with access to endless drugs without any danger to himself.

His Supreme Court appointments were superb, but his terrible stance on immigration and his brand of "compassionate conservatism" are just two reasons why we now have Barry Hussein.

And that's the absolute truth............no rose colored anything.
And if you wouldn't have President Bush back in a heartbeat after looking at Obama, we don't have much in common.
(Oh........that "compassionate conservatism led to Obama" is a bunch of hyperbolic poppycock. The two had nothing to do with each other. There are a slew of historic reasons why Obama got elected, and not one of them has anything to do with having a President who genuinely cared about people).
Barry Hussein is a scourge on everything we hold dear. Of course I'd prefer Bush in there.
I was 100% for Bush in both 2000 and 2004, and to this day I have no regrets for supporting him. That being said, his brand of so-called "compassionate conservatism" sent spending out of control. True Conservatism must be not only social but fiscal as well.
