Cooper finally jumped off the fence this morning and announced that he plans to vote YES. The arrogant so-called Blue Dog didn’t learn a thing from the disaster that was Tenn-Care.

Members of the Chattanooga Tea Party are there! I’d be there too if I didn’t have to work the night shift tonight.

Tea Parties are useless. The other side is friggen laughing at the people that go to Tea Parties. They call you Tea Baggers. How does it feel to be laughed at? Maybe if you could get 100,000 people with loaded guns at these tea parties they would take you seriously. But until then, Tea Parties are a joke.

MIke Ross (D-ARK) won't even answer his phone!

He must be going to walk that plank for Pelosi. If he does he better start looking for a new job.

I weep for the liberty of my country when I see at this early day of its successful experiment that corruption has been imputed to many members of the House of Representatives, and the rights of the people have been bartered for promises of office.

Tea Parties are useless.

No, they are not useless. They are just a beginning. Get involved with one and you'll see that there's a lot more going on than a few rallies.

And, who gives a fat rat's backside if the left calls us names? That only means that we're being noticed. I've been called names all my life, though not often to my face. If that's all they've got, then it shows how shallow their platform is.

Tea parties rally like-minded individuals but they do more. They give us a way to discern who we might be able to trust when that TSHTF moment arrives.

What's your suggestion to counter the left?

That’s because there is no such animal as a Blue Dog. They are all libs, just that some hide it better than others so they get elected.

I have come to the conclusion that civil war is the only way to restore a constitutional government to this country. The system is too corrupt to be saved. Just remember the original tea party was an act of violence. It wasn’t peaceful protest.

The evidence is strong that Tea Parties and Town Hall appearances do have an effect... they just will not convince every member of Congress...

Most of the name calling is coming from leftist bloggers, media types and so called comedians. The larger majority of the elected politicians are ducking the issue entirely..

The Dems and RINOs know the potential effect of an outraged group of people. There were a million people at the March on DC - then politicians know the facts of 9/12... In secret you can bet a Blue Dog Democrat is paying close attention. The vote on this insane Health Care bill has not been taken yet.

There are groups of Tea Party folks making a loud noise outside the Capitol Building right now. We’ll see.

If we are ignored - then the built up outrage will remove the ignorant politicos in the fall of 2010.

From an email:

It was just discovered that Speaker Pelosi's government-run "health" plan, that may be voted on tomorrow, WILL require you to give $1 every month to go for ABORTION!

Perhaps, but then one might consider the present-day Tea Party rallies as a means of picking teams.

To borrow a line from the movie “Pulp Fiction”, it is time to go medieval on their buttocks at the polling place....

Yup. They talk and talk like moderate conservatives and then, in the end, get back in bed with the libs. Whores, all.

As Sarah Palin said last night in Milwaukee at a Wisconsin Right to Life rally and fundraiser, “Never let anyone tell you to sit down and shut up!”

She was awesome, BTW!

Maybe it will pass the House. I hope not. In any case, I believe we've slowed things down, and certainly made more of them sweat. The more we can slow things down and make them expend political capital, the less they can accomplish of their radical agenda before the mid-term elections.

Protests aren't the only thing going on. There are many ways in which we can chip away at this monstrosity and engage our fellow citizens. As to whether it will come to civil war, I'm doing my utmost to bring about peaceful change. I pray things don't ever come to that point in America; once should have been enough.

I'm all ears as to how to bring about renewal of our constitutional republic through peaceful means. There is work to be done, and each of us has skills and experience to contribute.
