A senior police chief spoke out tonight about the worrying rise in gang rapes, as disturbing figures showed almost 100 attacks in the capital within the last year.
Meanwhile the age of victims has fallen, with 64 per cent aged 19 or younger in the last financial year compared with 48 per cent in 1998-9.
The Metropolitan Police has commissioned research from Dr Miranda Horvath, a lecturer in forensic psychology at the University of Surrey.
She is focusing on the 'cultural context' of gang rape and speaking to officers from forces across Britain and the United States. Jennette Arnold, who represents Hackney, Islington and Waltham Forest on the MPA, said some offenders are from cultural backgrounds where rape is more common.
She said the crime is seen by some as a 'weapon of war' and more work needs to be done to get into the minds of culprits.

We had a horrendous gang rape here in this country last week and all I hear is excuses for it, Societies fault.
Nero fiddled while Rome burned comes to mind. Western culture and whites are the new Rome.
As long as the law abiding women in England don’t start carrying weapons for self defense all will be OK.

I was a student in London in the 1970’s. The only thing I had to worry about was a possible purse snatching in the tourist areas. I went everywhere I wanted, whenever I wanted. I took my son over in 1990; it was a lot more cosmopolitan (and that’s saying something for London), but we didn’t feel unsafe. Sad to say, I don’t know if I’d go back now.
That was my first thought. I go into a bloody rant at the very thought of Islamo-Nazi-Terroists (INTs), when I should have been worried about the Amish all along.

Same here. I remember getting into Euston station at 3:30 in the morning and walking across the city to get to a connection by 6:30. Across several parks as well. I had no problem and I had no fear of being mugged, shot or beaten up. I don’t think I would do that now.
Its more what they are NOT doing. They are not being muslim. They are not being properly dressed. They are not showing proper respect to allah.
Believe it or not, there was crime in Britain before there were Muslims in Britain. There continues to be crime in Britain not committed by Muslims. As it happens, inner-city gangs are dominated by (but not confined to) the gansta/rap culture of Afro-Caribbean immigrants, in which rape is a common excess, rather than by Muslims.
That should be gangsta/rap, of course

I suggest that a .45 caliber hollow point projectile moving at about 850 fps is the appropriate tool for the job.
Put them in a room, crazy glue Mr. Johnson to the floor, have a controlled burn rate on the room, give the miscreant a Bowie knife and then set the room ablaze..
