They've had Muslim services at one of the base chapels ever since I've been here. They also have Jewish services in another chapel. They even have a bunch of Wiccans who meet in a scout camp on post.

This is one definition of the word plot, this can be done by one person, a plot does not necessarily have to be a conspiracy. A plot can be one person’s secret plan involving no others.

Every qualified soldier should have a conceal carry permit when off duty on base , and uniformed soldiers so trained must always be armed if qualified in time of war, and in uniform.Hell, a knife even!

But we have ideologues, idiots at the top who do not want to appear aggressive. The USS Cole, The Marine Barracks in Lebanon,and now tyhis, all preventable. A 50 cal machine gun and an anti tank shoulder launched missile at the gates of the Marine Barracks could have prevented much death.A fully armed deck watch with fire to kill orders within 100 meters would have saved 17 lives on the Cole. The blood of these soldiers is not only on the hands of Hasan IMHO.

WASHINGTON, D.C - On Thursday, the FBI called the shooting that took place at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum on Wednesday an act of domestic terrorism, a reminder of the threat within our own borders.

The suspect, James von Brunn, was a self-proclaimed white supremacist. When his name came out, it did not surprise to groups that monitor domestic terrorism. His name was already on their lists.

Hasan wasn’t white. He was not a self proclaimed White Supremist.

He was Jordanian. He was a self proclamied Islamic Extremist.

The difference is soooooo very clear.
Who are we to fear more? The terrorist themselves or the idiots who refuse to speak reality?
