Am thinking that from now on I will plan on vetting my Doctors to ensure that they are not Muslim.
I am concerned that, if they are willing to slaughter people with a handgun, it will be far simpler to "fix the infidel" with a misdiagnosis.
I do not want to wind up being a victim of a supporter of Allah, and not letting them treat me will limit my exposure.
You want the truth? Hell no!
I want a doctor that speaks English too!
I am with you on this.
I didn’t trust mine. When I was in Fayetteville, N.C....close to Ft. Bragg. I went to a clinic. I did not know that the doctor was Muslim, but when I saw her in her hajib...I began to have my doubts. I tried to suppress my first reaction....I did see her for two visits, but I just did not feel safe, and so I went somewhere else.
I have, and have had, Hindu (Indian) doctors for some time at the V.A. Most have been decent physicians, but I don’t think I would trust a Muslim.
How would you know if he/she were Muslim unless you asked?
I have known non Muslim and Catholic as a matter of fact doctors that were crappy.
Does a fish shit in the woods?
You JUST now started doing that?
Be sure to also check your states medical board licensure verification to check schooling.
This is something EVERYONE can do. Don’t just talk, act.
No Muslim doctors. Don’t shop at Muslim owned stores, or frequent Muslim restaurants. I won’t even deal with Muslim clerks and cashiers.
Not sure? Ask- if they admit to being Muslim-walk away.
If everyone rejected these throwbacks to the 12th century we would have an effect.
Everyone reject one, disdain one, shun one. We WILL have an effect.
When thinking of a Muslim doctor, I always remember those in England and what they did.
You are gonna love this. I live in a military town, recently retired and one of the doctors I’ve recently seen has his name on his smock, as usual. This doctor is Arabic, most likely Egyptian, however he only has the first initial of his first name which was J. I later looked on his certificates lining the walls of his office (wait for it) his first name is JIHAD. True story, I kid you not.
After all this, would I trust him, yes I would.
Me too! Just did recently. Palestinian I think. I had a car accident and had to go to a no fault chiro. Went to the one referred and I just didn’t feel comfortable. Placed looked like a production line. Overheard him telling guy in next room/other side of wall, that he didn’t have to worry about being illegal, he would take care of everything just have his lawyer call him. Told him he had rights, blah blah blah, etc. Then he wanted to rerun all the same tests I already had. IMO wanted to work the billing system.
Needless to say I never went back to him.
What I do have is the ability to read and pay attention and as such, I belief in Jesus and Christianity.
I tend to also believe that, assuming the story of satan is true, this is more or less satan's world until Jesus returns. I also tend to believe that islam is satan's.
So...there are millions of muslims who will disagree, but they aren't the ones who make the headlines and aren't the ones saying allah akbar as they kill people or blow themselves up.
Not having a spiritual background, I'm looking at the actions of the faithful to form my opinions and I have to believe that islam is satan's teachings of violence and death. I only know what others have shown me through their actions.

Okay....I can't believe I am reading this by someone who's handle is “NorwegianViking”. I mean after all, was it not the vikings who had a fierce reputation? Ever heard the old saying "don't turn your back on a viking"? Hey...if she threatens to send you to Aller....you threaten to send her to Valhalla!
I used to have a job that required annual medical monitoring. One year the doc at the clinic was muslim. He was very rude and just had evil in his eyes. He offhandedly threatened that he would not clear me to work because I smoked. Needless to say, I never went to that clinic again.
Don’t be so paranoid. With Obamacare, you may choose your own doctor: Achmed, Mohammed, Nidal...
Sure I’d trust him,..just like I trust everybody,...but I still cut the cards and would only proceed with a medical procedure after a second opinion from a more qualified and veritable MD.
We do have a fierce reputation, but that doesn’t mean we have shut minds. I have never heard “don’t turn your back on a Viking”. Learn something everyday.
I have a Muslim Doctor..and I love her. She wears a headdress, she has an accent. I trust her with my life.
I had one....not for long....he did not speak, or understand English for what I could see. I got fed up. No more muslim or otherwise doctors for me! I want ones that are American! I want ones I can understand! When I go to the doctor the lines of communication must me open.
In Britain, socialized medicine has driven away many British doctors who have been replaced with foreign immigrant doctors of questionable education & quality.
Any vetting that may be done will likely be the doctor vetting YOU as a potential patient. If you are white, healthy, & middle class you may not be a desirable patient.
When in Iraq one of the men in my unit was a Muslim. I could not really get a close relationship with him and others in my unit cautioned me not to turn my back on him. I thought they were joking but now, maybe not. I am sorry to say. JM
If this healthcare debacle passes, we won’t be given a choice in the matter.
Two Indian Doctors have helped my family, one saved my Father’s life when he had a heart attack, and now his his Doc.
The other one saved my wife’s eye.
Muslim, don’t know about. Maybe they don’t have to get worried about being sued?
Interesting.
I would. I do think the majority of muslims want to live in peace and happiness. It’s the 10-20% radical ones that reck havoc. I think I would be able to discern if my Dr. was a terrorist loon like this Hasan guy.
If this health care bill comes to pass..foreign doctors will be the only ones willing to work for the kind of pay they’re going to get.
“I think I would be able to discern if my Dr. was a terrorist loon like this Hasan guy.”
You can figure it out just like the Army was able to figure out the guy would go on a killing spree shouting Allah praises?
Not thanks, my family and I will play the odds and get only doctors without Muslim credentials.
I have a picture of what is left of a guy named Achmed trying to get into the green zone in Baghdad with a chest full of explosives. He was tagged by an alert shiper— needless to say Achmed felt no pain as his brains were splatterd all over the sidewalk It looked like a watermelon dropped from 100 feet. I don’t think the moderator would approve of the pix :-)
That’s the thing- the Army SHOULD have figured it out. It seemed pretty obvious this guy was radical. He was proselytizing his patients for goodness sakes. If my Doctor started taking to me about converting to islam, yeah I think I would pick up on that. Someone dropped the ball big time.
I really liked my primary care physician. The guy grew up in west Texas and was older than me. Unfortunately, he quit. He didn’t quit medicine. He just quit primary care and is now a TV doc, focusing on laser fat removal and stuff like that.
Okay, I needed a new PCP. How do you choose? I picked a Texas Aggie doc (right religion: Aggie football... and we’ve been wandering in the desert, just like the Exodus), with an interest in sports medicine (and sports injuries accounts for most of my medical requirements). The new doc’s younger than me, which bugs me even though most people are younger than me today. I want an older doctor. Age aside, the guy’s great.
Here’s the main point...
I GOT TO PICK MY DOCTOR!
Under Der Obama, how long will I have that ability and right?
I agree, there are plenty of nice, peaceful Muslims. What scares the crap out of me is how many obvious warning signs there were that this guy wasn’t that kind of Muslim (though he probably had been at some point in the past). I read somebody reported concerns about him to the FBI 6 months ago, and no investigation was opened.
Had and Indian doctor who almost killed me. He placed 3 stents that clotted 3 days later and I came within 2 seconds of dieing. My current cardiologist, a Catholic, told me the stents were put in wrong. Now I’m walking around with 4...the 3 that had to be adjusted and another one that clotted my artery with the clots from the first 3. I don’t know his religion. In fact, he may be Paskistani. The name is Bhatia.
I reported this to the AMA one year after it happened. For a year I had not heard one word from this quack so I waited a year. It’s been 4 months and I haven’t heard anything from the AMA. The hospital has conveniently lost my records and the AMA has not responded on my compliant about them either.
And don’t suggest a malpractice suit. It can no longer be done in Texas. The republicans went too far and the award is capped at $250,000. No insurance company will settle because if they lose they know what they’ll have to pay. In fact, you can’t get a lawyer to take the case unless your family sues after you’re dead. There’s no cap on that. I’m for tort reform but I think they went to far on this one.
Sadly, the hospitals are filled with people who barely speak English. I don’t understand it. Are all the exams being given in their native language?
Have a very close friend who’s a physician. He *emphatically* told me that you don’t want a foreign doc for many different reasons.
It has occurred to me how very dangerous it was for the U.S. Army to have this doctor “treating” psychologically vulnerable solders and family members. Imagine if he had been able to insinute his views into a few of his patients and been able to medicate them at the same time.
I don’t think the point being made here regards the physician’s actual skills.
I have read that as many as 45% of US doctors may quit practice in the USA. Who will replace them?
A sharp, young, pre-med college student just bought a car from me - she said if Obamacare goes through, she’ll instead become a P.A. rather than a dermatologist.
THIS is what we have to look forward to.
Its the 10-20% radical ones that reck havoc
...so, that’s like almost one out of five wreaking havoc. You like those odds having a muslim doc?
Funny you should mention this. About a year ago I had to go to a specialist. He was an Arab and was the only specialist in the area in my heath plan. It was right around Christmas time and I know that not all Arabs are Moslem, some are Christians and are now wonderful American citizens.
There were a few Christmas decorations around the reception area but they could have just belonged to the staff. I was curious, so I said Merry Christmas to him as I was leaving. He got a disgusted look on his face and said sort of under his breath, he was a Moslem.
There is no way I am ever going back to this man even though I have a one year follow up coming up soon. If there is no other specialist in the area, I just won’t go.
Consider also the religious objection to the single most effective disinfectant around:
Alcohol.
Read a couple years ago about Muslim doctors in the UK who refused to disinfect with alcohol.
Just saying.
I wouldn’t go to one, period. There are plenty of American doctors.
Last year I went for my annual eye exam.
The “doctor” was Mooselimb.
He stayed SO far away from my “infidel” self at all times during the “is this better?” phase that my prescription was nowhere near what I needed.
Every time I bitched, he said my eyes had to ‘adjust’ to the new lenses.
I am *still* waiting for normal vision to return as nearly a year of wearing the wrong prescription has just about ruined my near vision.
This is disastrous for me as I am an artist and I NEED to be able to see things clearly up close.
Never again.
Oh.
Mine had a big, obvious “Koran Question of the Day” calendar on his desk.
Pretty handy tip off.
