After South Carolina Rep. Joe Wilson shouted, "You lie!" as President Obama pitched health care to a joint session of Congress, even Republicans ran from their rude colleague. Two months later, however, most Americans are reaching a similar conclusion about Obama, and not just on health care.
They now believe Obama was not honest about how he would govern. His campaign promises, they say, bear little resemblance to the president he is.
They believed him when he said he was a moderate who would lead from the center. But a clear majority, 54 percent, now says the president is "mostly liberal" and his policies tilt left.

I have some choice descriptive titles for our Muslim President, Unfortunately I cannot use them in this forum.
And the other 46% are to F---in' stupid for words.
The “shift 8” keystroke always comes in handy when I’m describing Obama.
You do realize the grammatical irony built into your comment, don't you??? :)
I tried to post something here in the far left, Gannet-owned Burlington Free Press on Saturday about O'Bozzo's insensitivity in his address about the attack at Ft. Hood and had my post pulled.
Likewise, they had an 1,200 word story about Hasan that day and it did not have a single word about him being Muslim or anything about Islam.
Thing is people are not stooopid and many are beginning to wake up and realize how much the Media is protecting him and how much of a far left Fascist Dear Leader really is
Cannot wait for next year's elections!!!
2 Thessalonians 2:3-12
3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?
6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.
7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
9 [Even him], whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
It’s just so.... relevant.
He is as reckless as a man who knows he will not have to face re-election...think about it.
We must register ALL THOSE PEOPLE we know who don't vote, to come out next election. How many do you know? They have mobilized the cities, we must mobilize the apathethic. If there's another election...
Although I live in the bluest of cities, all i can do is educate and inform the people I know about what is really going on.
I’m sure there are some who see my emails of articles and probably roll their eyes, BUT I have managed to persuade at least a couple of people so far that the Dems are Commies/Marxists/anti-Semites.
I ask them to spread the word, so the message is passed on exponentially. That is how grassroots operate, and that is what I am trying to do in my own corner of the world. Be a blade of grass...
I agree. He is acting like he either plans to quite after one elected term a la LBJ, or he plans to cancel the 2012 election if circumstances permit.
Anybody with more than 3 living brain cells to rub together could see that given Obama's former statements, his and his campaigns thuggish, personal attacks on those with whom he disagreed (including civilians, like "Joe the Plumber"), what little legislative record he has, the fact that we know NOTHING about the guy, other than how brilliant he and those selfsame media and pundits tell us he is - with NO documented proof. But most importantly, the people with whom Obama has surrounded himself in the past, right up to this day, SPEAKS VOLUMES about the sort of man he is, as well as the way he would govern.
I'm just shocked that anyone could possibly be surprised by it. And anyone who claims to be surprised should get a job where their main comments to the public should be, "Would you like fries with that?"
Mark
Well, I know a lot of people who don’t vote, and they’ll be hearing from me. FReegards...
Look what the man has done in 9 mos. He has 39 left...
I guess "they" weren't listening because Obama is ruling EXACTLY the way I thought he would and the way he said he would.
I thought that in larger venues, Hussein played a “moderate’ as much as possible. But in smaller, more left-leaning settings, like the famous fund raiser in San Francisco(”bitter clingers”), the real, Marxist Obama came out.
You really needed to get you information from a source like FR to find out what Hussein was really like. The lamestream media were worse than useless.
Sadly, 6 months ago I would have read your post and muttered to myself, “good grief, where do they get these nutjobs from”
Today,,,it scares the h*LL outa me.
It is going to take a very different mindset on our part to win this one I am afraid,,,,are we ready????
*** are we truly ready? ***

Pedaling back to simpler time for Daley and his schemes
John Kass
November 8, 2009
My favorite Chicago political photo of all time wasn’t even shot in Chicago. It was shot in Paris in 2007.
It depicts Mayor Richard Daley riding a bike outside Paris City Hall, wearing a suit and tie, squeezing the handlebars while steering a wobbly little circle, an impish grin on his face.
Happy days.
The bike was part of a unique program in which the mayor of Paris provided bikes to the people to make his city more “green.” For a small fee, Parisians could pedal whimsically for hours through the city of light. And what did the bikes cost?
Only $3,500 each, according to the French.............

FR is an excellent starting point for any research to begin. If it isn't on FR, it isn't news. :O)
