In November 2008, 658,000 Americans under 30 voted in New Jersey and 782,000 did so in Virginia. In November 2009, 212,000 Americans under 30 voted in New Jersey and 198,000 did so in Virginia. Duh. Young voters are stupid as Sh** and only vote in Presidential elections when the candidate is shown to be cool and give them freebies, like Bararck Hussein Obama, mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.

I wish he’d gone on to list the turnouts among the older voters as well, to show proportional impact.

It’s OK with me if they stay in bed for the next 3 years. Hopefully the “uniqueness” of voting for Bambi will have faded by then.

It will be eye-opening for them to be hunted down by the government to buy health insurance.

“young” voters did not make a difference in 2008. It was a myth. It was the old people who voted for the African colonel.

Young voters went 66 to 32 percent for Barack Obama, while voters over 30 went for Obama by only 50 to 49 percent.

Here's his numbers, you're right BO gets a 1 % win, but that wouldn't have translated into a filibuster proof Senate or a House majority the size they have to produce radical health care destruction

Most college kids are the biggest bunch of conformists and fad followers on earth. There was a herd mentality, group think thing going on in 2008 about how cool it’d be to vote for a black guy. Like most fads, it was much less evident a couple of years later.

I’d bet there was also a big drop off in the number guilt-ridden white folks of all ages voting as Obama wanted.

That’s why Palin scared Obama so badly, almost peeled off the young female vote.

I don’t think they are afraid of young voters, only freewheeling voters.

The idea that we could be calling the shots and beyond their manipulation terrifies them, I’m sure.

They will not have jobs so they might be staying in bed day after day. They still don't realize that the fact that they don't have jobs is the responsibility of the Dems and unless the Conservatives start making video games that are history lessons, I fear that they will never understand the basics of political and economic principles.

They voted for Obama because they saw it as a game like American Idol where you vote for your favorite, and wanted to be a part of history with their useless wasted lives.

But now that they’ve been unemployed for over a year, the reality is starting to set in .... what have we done!

Trouble is that doesn’t start till 2013. MANY people up until then will be saying, see, it really doesn’t matter, it really hasn’t affected me!!!

Thanks for reading the fine print. That being true, I wonder whether there might not be 70 million truly uninsured by 2012 election, though.

I can remember how cool it was for young people to vote for a peanut farmer for president in 1976. I also rememeber how many of them reversed course and voted for Ronald Reagan in 1980. The reality is that a lot of young folks who voted for Obama last year were in college and didn't have a job. In 2012, most of those younsters will be out of college...and still won't have a job. That could make all of the difference.

Young people got excited about Obama’s rock star celebrity image. For most young people, it was like voting in a tee vee show, who’s got talent.

Like all celebrities, Obama is old and overused now for his entertainment value. Now his mug is on tee vee all the time and he has no new songs to sing and jigs to dance. No greek stages and light shows of screaming fans. He just swings his head to that same old beat from teleprompter to teleprompter and it’s not entertaining anymore.

The glamor is gone; the tee vee show is over for the season and the young are stuck with re-runs when they already know which new celebrity talent is going to win. Now Obama knows how Oprha and Britney feel when the image of glamor dies.

10.2 is the overall rate, I read somewhere it was stratospheric for young people, 3 or 4 times that or more.

It’s not enough to have the “old folks” opposed to ObamaCare. The millenials need to be informed of the dire financial costs and the costs to their personal liberty from a socialized government.
