So What Do We Do Now?
Vanity | November 8, 2009 | Wpin

Posted on 11/08/2009 6:26:47 AM PST by Wpin

This morning I awoke to the news that the democrats have succeeded in passing their "health" bill. One lone Republican voted for it, thirty-eight democrats voted against it. In spite of the people's wishes this government has moved us another step into socialistic fascism. Just as Hitler did in his tenure as leader of Germany.

So, I am wondering today...what do we do now? It is obvious that protesting as we have with our Tea Parties have had no affect. Tyrants always have reason for tyranny and they will not be stopped by the American people protesting politely, even when there are hundreds of thousands of us at one place.

As most of us here I am very disheartened, indeed saddened deeply by what I view as what may be another nail in the coffin of freedom and decency. Are these the end times? Are we to suffer terribly for our nation ignoring God? I have so many questions which I do not have the answer to. All I know from my life is to do the right thing, to stand up for liberty and decency. To strive to prevail over what I view as this evil. But, how to do that? Do we continue to do our Tea Parties? Do we work on seperating from this nation and building our own? Would the democrats even allow that? Maybe someone can offer some clarity, some sound thinking on what the hell we do now. I would appreciate it greatly.

“There is little I can do other then de-fund my tiny portion of taxes.”

We will all have to “live simply so that others may simply live”, the mantra of the loony left.

Only problem is, by “living simply” we don’t produce much. Funny thing about that. No producy no revenuee.

there is a third way.......operation thrift....put off the big ticket purchases, buy at garage sales, use the barter program when possible, and reduce or eliminate all unneccessary overtime...cut your income as much as possible without causing your family undue pain...starve the beast

“”I looked at Drudge this morning and saw that smiling jackal Pelosi.””

That’s when my TV went dark - the minute she showed up in red with that idiotic smile on her face. I guess that’s permanent tho’ with her plastic face.

I don’t understand why these women dress in red at big occasions in Congress. I seem to remember that it was Nancy Reagan who wore red at the State of the Union addresses and since then even the dem women wear red.

Does anyone remember them wearing red before Nancy Reagan?

Tea Parties are not working.

Maybe, as a start, it's time to be thinking of forming our own nationwide well-regulated non-military militias. Just a thought......hmmmm.......

I’m self-employed.

I think we should sacrifice by giving up any unnecesary spending but we need a way to account for it so that they know.

I guess we could call it spending “Rollback”.

You forgot TAR and Feathers.

We need to stand in the Halls of Congress, politely, and Packed in 10 across the halls....so thick they can’t ignore us.
We need to send the unemployed to Congress, organize soup lines to feed them, and they can go inside pulblic buildings to stay Warm in the Winter.

We also need to find some local offices of Congress, and surround their home office and have a tail gate party.

Typing letters and faxes, and phone calls no longer works for the Congressmen that VOTED at midnite. They need personal attention, and the Senators need some examples.

You think the Democrats care about the negative feedback?
They own the liberal propaganda machine. They have tons of money and power. This will only feather their nests. We are living in a different screwed up country now. A bunch of talking monkees on t.v. will keep everyone confused. The people who do not work will win now.

There is language in the bill making it very hard to repeal. Not sure how that works but I have been told that last additions made it repeal proof.

Our nation is on the brink of destruction.

Today, and until we are rid of the Obama regime, I will fly my flag upside.

.....We must respond politically. The tea parties are nice theater, but we must look for 2010 candidates to support. What can we do? Look at New Jersey and Virginia. That’s it. We must pass up on that pizza and send $20 to a candidate somewhere who will be in a tight race. We must take on that extra consulting job over the weekend and send $1,000 to someone running againstr a current congressperson in 2010. Donations get reported, and congressmen get scared when they know money is flowing against them. Everything else is just theater. We stage a protest and then whine and wail that the left wing media doesn’t report it. As if we thought they would. Money is the answer. And free enterprise people will always have the money. We have to start using it. And don’t think a $20 contribution doesn’t count, it does.

We must organize ourselves off of the internet for two reasons. One, for privacy. Two, because silencing dissent is in the cards.

Many years ago a friend of mine who was very strong and did not take crap from fools told me that there are 3 types of people in the world:

1. Those who know what is right and do it.

2. Those who have to be told.

3. Those who have to be hit.

I fear that we are at the 3rd option with these nation destroyers in Washington. I just don’t know what the catalyst will be to finally get us off our butts and do something about it. I have a feeling that the left will provide that catalyst fairly soon.

Fight it with everything you’ve got. This is a Communist take over of Aemrica. Since they completely ignored the Constitution and millions of Americans protesting they feel they have the ability to pass ANY law. This bill, alone, is enough for action as it is a declaration of war against us by our government. This isn’t “health care reform”, this is government take over of an entire aspect of life and unconstitutional regulations within it that jail you, fine you, and tax you out of house and home, prevent commerce as they see fit, regulates anything they want for any reason they want, all in the name of health care. This isn’t the last bill they will pass but just the first of many.

Arm up! They Have!

Every Senator has a local office in their home state. It’s time to park as many protesters as we can muster in front of every Senator’s office. Loud and proud. This tactic worked wonders when our TN State Legislature tried to adopt an unconstitutional state income tax. I see no reason why the same tactic wouldn’t work here.”

I believe that we would have much greater impact and garner more wide-spread media attention if those “tea parties” were held on the sidewalks infront of every Senator’s HOME! It’s time to get personal and due to the location, we will not be ignored. Bonus will be that many who otherwise aren’t aware, will, state-wide, state to state, become informed!

“Its called going GALT.”

They couldn’t care less. Until their very lives are affected, they couldn’t care less. You going Galt does nothing but empower them as the people crying for government handouts would only grow.

We need a block of states to refuse to dance to the government’s tune. A unified stand against tyranny.

“It is obvious that protesting as we have with our Tea Parties have had no affect.”

You are correct. With this crowd in congress they could care less.

2010 elections would be the only way to stop this drift, but most of the damage will have already been done.

Even if a conservative were to be elected in 2012 and have a conservative congress, the Health Care, Cap & Tax, and other major legislation will not and can not be reversed.

There is nothing we can do, other than vote and be active ... unless the states begin a legislative revolt against the feds.

Begin with state laws requiring employers to pay any tax with-holdings to the state and not directly to the IRS. That way the states would payout a lump sum to the Feds and then can withhold the payments if necessary.

Same for any federal fuel taxes paid by retailers, wholesalers, and distributors. So to for any other indirect Federal taxes/fees that the states are required to collect for the feds.

The feds need to be the bottom rung on the revenue ladder.
