National Strike: Don't Feed The Pig Day!
Vanity ^ | November 8, 2009 | Wpin

Posted on 11/08/2009 9:59:05 AM PST by Wpin

We need to do something more dramatic, more radical to attempt to get the democrats to stop this destruction of our American system of government.

I propose we set up a national strike day which will also include a boycott. So, we don't go to work on that day and we also do not buy anything at all that day. We have the greatest impact we possible can on the economy that day. If we can get enough people to do this, it will really shake up Washington and our state governments as well.

It is the American people who make the wealth in this nation, we are the productive ones. We are always trying to fight these bastards on their ground, let's make them battle on ours! We shut down the economy for a day, with the threat to do it once a week until they capitulate.

We simply: Don't Feed The Pig Day

There is no travel required, missing work is a sacrifice, but really people it is a very very minor one. Think of the soldiers fighting for us now risking their lives for our freedom...that is not very convenient for them I am sure. Think of the millions who sacrificed everything to protect our freedom in the past. Now, it is our turn to sacrifice just a little to maybe make a real difference.

The left has mocked us at every turn, we protested with our Tea Party's...I did Chicago April 15th, Rockford in August, and the March On Washington in September. We were mocked or ignored. Our leaders like Sarah Palin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Ann Coulter, Michelle Maulking, Joe Wilson, any outstanding conservative is humiliated, lied about, and mocked. This is what tyrants do. In the meantime, these bastards have control of our education system, legal system, unions, etc. and they now are taking over private industry. They have no legal authority for this people! They are forcing their will upon us. They are truly enemies to our constitution and to our country.

Join in this effort to get their attention and scare the crap out of them. Don't Feed The Pig Day...I propose we do this on Wednesday November 30th. And we do it every Wednesday thereafter until they capitulate.

Also, you can help by paying taxes on the last possible minute, do not evade your taxes, just wait till the last legal minute to pay them. You can make gifts for Christmas instead of buying them. The idea is Don't Feed The Pig!

This is still a matter of ballots, not bullets.

Get active in your local politics, work to fire these idiots, drown your local media in letters tot the editor and your local talk radio show with phone calls. Actively work to help the local Teapartiers keep the pressure on.

Now is the time to fight, not make grand gestures.

A bigger effect is to study your W-4 exemption potential and max out deductions to it to the maximum possible before penalty. This is what I've done; they don't get an extra goddam nickel before their time, and I'll end up having to pay this year, more, but having gotten money back last year, there is more leeway in how badly I can 'not pay' throughout the year. Less money for them throughout the year.

If the entire country did this, they'd be forced to do the same thing California is doing, making their claims of 'recovery' less believable.

Nice thought, not sure if it would happen.

A march/sit-in/protest at all 100 Senator’s offices might help.

Perhaps it’s time to get arrested for the first time in my 55 years

I am not calling for bullets, but to call shutting down the economy, at least a big part of it, for a day a grand gesture is not thinking things through. I have been involved with Republican politics all my life. I know the state leaders and have met many of the national leaders. Most do not think you know your ass from a hole in the ground, that is the truth MNJohnnie. We are racing towards a civil war where we will need bullets for real. We don’t have time to wait till next election or the next election or the next election anymore...my humble thoughts...

I don't like it either. This kind of thing doesn't fly with Texans, and like it or not Conservatism needs Texas right now. If you want to do something scarey, organize the top 1% to adjust their witholding to 10 dependents on Monday. Then file for extension in April. THAT will leave a mark. It's sneaky and effective and doesn't turn off moderates. Strikes are obnoxious and anti-American.

I support local actions like continuation of the Tea Parties, town meeting turnouts, letters, email and calls. Join up with a local meetup.org group. Keep this grassroots and keep it non-partisan (although most of the angry are conservatives, don’t allude to that fact).

Don’t look to Rush or Beck or Palin or any other national figure to lead. Just join together with like minded people locally and decide what to do. The big guns can do what they want, but it’s better that we’re grassroots and local. Makes it much harder to ignore.

Vote with your money. Don’t make a big show of it, but don’t spend on non-essentials and don’t drive unless you have to (cuts down sales tax revenues). If you control your income, try to do with a lot less so you deprive the state and federal gubmint of money. Increase your withholding or sock more money into your retirement plans where tax is deferred.

Save your money to donate to swing district and state conservatives in 2010.

If several million do what I have just suggested, it will make a huge impact, believe me.

A question. Do you think these Communists care about revenue and the state of our economy? As long as they hold onto to power, they wouldn’t care if the ‘masses of asses’ had to eat cow dung [see Zimbabwe]. That’s why I’ve been sceptical of the ‘Going Galt’ and starve the beast strategies. They would just solidify their power under worsening conditions.

These commie punks are deadly serious and they’ve declared war on the American people.

“Will this hurt the troops..deployment costs etc? Won’t the govt just print more $$$. I’m in on your idea, just asking questions to make it solid.”

It will not hurt the troops, although the democrats have been hurting the troops already for years now with their lies and distortions about the war on terror and the Iraq theater.

Part of the power of the national strike and boycott is it signals insecurity in our economy not just to our government but also to other governments, like China who lends us hundreds of billions of dollars each year. Our government will understand this and will feel all the more pressure because of the added perception of risk to our economy and hence our dollars. This can be a very high impact tactic when one thinks about it. It isn’t union, it isn’t a grand gesture, it is serious protest. Legal and proper. As far as the employer here who said he would graciously fire any patriot standing with us, I plan on giving my employees the day off.

I hate to deflate your enthusiasm but attempted national boycotts don’t work.

And attempting them makes the one doing the attempt look stupid — remember “not one damn dime day?” DUFU still uses it as a source of derision.

But keep up the attitude and together we can kill this monster.

Things I'd like to see when the bastards in Congress pass Obamacare and he signs it.

National strikes to the Washington D.C. area. No cargo transported in, no cargo transported out.

Everyone visit your doctor once a week. (Not too hard for the elderly since the elderly already have a lot wrong with them that they endure.) Overwhelm the system. (Something suggested by another Freeper)

Continuing protests in Washington D.C. and the offices of liberal politicians. Maybe they don't want to hear the people, but that's too bad.

Have large groups of people band together and finance multiple lawsuits against the Constitutionality of Obamacare. That will be effective for a while until Obama complete corrupts the Federal Judiciary.

If your Congressman has his head right and votes right, get active in the neighboring areas where the Dems have a seat and walk precincts to unseat them.

People, people, people. Our most gutsy political leaders happen to be two females. I love them both. Newt is an effing moron. But please, can we not find some ethical strongly opinionated males who aren't afraid of fighting?

If, God willing, the Republicans are able to stop Amnesty, and retake the House, will we have enough Republicans who will ruthlessly work to eviscerate everything the Dems have done? Will they work overtime to defund every leftist program they can get their hands on? I mean, I am so sick and tired of bipartisanship and power sharing. Will they have the guts to defund Obamacare, the EPA, HUD, Department of Education, Department of Labor, and The Agriculture Department and cut the budget to the IRS? Will they strengthen the right to carry laws? Can we find people to kick the liberals in the nuts 7 days a week, 365 days a year, and ignore the MSM? Because THAT is what it will take. When Obamacare is signed, it is time! "We pledge our lives, our fortune, our mutual honor." We will have a nasty fight on our hands.

That makes a lot of sense to me, except...do we have the time to wait that long? The idea is to pressure the democrats prior to passing the takeover of the medical industry. We need to be timely to do that.

I know it is short notice, but we would need to go viral...send the message all over the internet and to our all in our mailboxes. We will need to send it in letter to the editor form and we will need to contact celebrities like Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Ann Coulter, Mark Levin and the many others to help spread the word. It is a tough task, but we are in tough times and we need to respond accordingly.

While your Don’t Feed the Pig Day concept is powerful, unfortunately it would likely hurt small business owners, municipalities and the like. That’s not a good thing. They are already hurting. It would be sort of like slapping yourself in the face. You could even lose your job.

I would encourage everyone to activate with a local tea party chapter, or local Conservative party. Talk to your neighbors and see what their views are. COMMUNICATE...EDUCATE and ENERGIZE.

The socialist libs have taught us a very valuable lesson...they have been organizing for a very long time to get to this point.

There’s nothing they are doing that we cannot UN-Do. We vote the bastards out the Senate and House in 2010 and begin undoing the damage with a new set of lawmakers. In 2012 we’ll have a new Conservative President.

Worst case scenario is we lose our right to vote...in which case, now is the time or organize.

What would this idea really accomplish? Answer: Nothing.

Do you want to actually FIX the problem, or just protest?

If the desire of people is to fix things then, yes, it's possible. How?

Keep all of your money out of banks. That is what is destroying our nation, and the rest of the industrialized world.

Want a new business venture? Start a new form of "bank" where people can make deposits and pay YOU a fee for doing so.

In turn, your bank promises to safeguard the money and not lend it out to anyone for anything. It would be the same concept as a storage facility for your personal goods.

What affect would this have?

It would turn your current money (which is based on debt) into money that can be treated like an asset.

You can still invest that money - as long as you invest it with others of like mind that promise to keep it out of banks. That way, the money would act as capital instead of debt.

If you get tens of millions of people doing this simple thing then the international bankers would begin to topple, one by one.
