Witness the brutal story of Joseph Stalin, who ruled the Soviet Union with an iron hand. Even Stalin's successors viewed him as brutal, and in the years following Stalin's death they heavily toned down his crimes. But now, after the fall of Communism, people have come forward to reveal the tyranny they themselves lived in.

We viewed the documentary a few weeks ago and interestingly there are no more copies that can be bought.
Take the time to watch this to educate yourselves through the linked url. You won't be able to stop watching.
This is a clear example of how unbridled power can yield some really terrible results. Stalin was responsible for the deaths of about 50 million people.
Stalin originally was a felon and a bank robber. He changed his name to Stalin but was initially known as Joseph Judasvili in 1902. In the documentary he is described as a community organizer!!!!
You should take the time to view this documentary and look at the overwhelming similarities to our politics today. The only difference is that we still have the semblance of a congress and the internet. You will find so many chilling and sobering easy to discern resemblances to modern times that you cannot help but wonder what is preventing us from falling into the same lethal mistakes.
While people are not being slaughtered en masse, one can see the callousness with which our government brushes aside unemployment statistics. 500,000 unemployed per month seems unimportant except that one can imagine the fear these people must feel. It is also not hard to understand that next month, the month after that and the month after that these unemployment statistic will not decrease. The government is not doing anything to even remotely begin to address this problem.
The more people are brutalized and terrorized through unemployment the more they will be broken. Look to see the similarities.
Take the time to view this glimpse in history. Who is it who said:" Those who forget their history are doomed to repeat it?" We sincerely hope it will not get to what Stalin terrorized the world with!
Many thanks!
If you take the time to view this documentary, you absolutely will not believe the similarites to the circus going on in congress. It looks like the democrats have viewed this documentary and are emulating it down to the last detail.
(Obama): Man of Steal
Yup, I’ve watched most of the documentaries on Mao, Stalin, Lenin, Pol Pot, etc. People are so distracted with cell phones, TV, Internet to realize that the round-ups and MASS EXECUTIONS are just around the corner.
“But, but.....this is America. It can’t happen here.” /morons
As I said, the differences are that we have communications, the internet, and a shredded congress which shields us from a Stalin-like take-over.
Still, the similarities in the techniques Stalin used to that of the democrats is deathly chilling.
Yeah he takes your dollar and gives you “Change”, a coupla pennies!
Death through starvation.
Death through destitute exposure to the elements.
Death by forced labor.
Death by liberal (ha) use of military/police force.
But then, hey like maybe 99.99% of all North Koreans are reaaaally serious avid amateur astronomers!

Just don't get caught with a cellphone!
It's ...........
Death again!
Oh yes, Stalin started out as an "organizer", once in power he outlawed the church and made himself the "messiah", property confiscated. It's all happening here at a slower pace, but make no mistake it can happen here. We're in the early stages but unless the country wakes up we could be seeing this.
Ping for later viewing..
Stalin was a Georgian, who spoke Russian with an accent.
Even Georgians who were sent away raved about their ‘homeboy”...strange, but true.
Mass executions are just around the corner and we're all too captivated by the pretty screens on our cell phones to notice? Really? C'mon. Get a grip and take the tinfoil off your head. That's absolutely ridiculous.
“While people are not being slaughtered en masse”,, the socialists have learned to neutralize a person without the crude solution of mass murder. IE,, Joe the plumber,,
instantly, government socialits workers exposed him for owing back taxes, professional licensing issues, his divorce,, etc,,
And also The DoD compelled a private employer to fire a U.S. Army Reserve major from his civilian job after he had his military deployment orders revoked for arguing he should not be required to serve under a president who has not proven his eligibility for office.
Mass murder and gulags are sooooo 1930s and 40s. In a centrrally planned economy, they always have you under their thumb.
Only Sarah scares them. She is impervious so far to their normal tricks.
You see exactly what I see. You are spot on.
Did I ask for your opinion NancyDrew? The DU acorn paid B.C. troller. Get bent Obama Rumpswab.
I don't care if you asked for my opinion. You posted your asinine statement on a public forum and I replied, calling it what it is. Deal with it.
Ive felt that way a while too. Especially after reading all the stories coming out of England today. The cold hard truth is that for the average person,, England is far more compulsary and totalitarian than Nazi Germany ever dreamed of being. The surveillance is nearly universal, right down to what you throw into your garbage can. No use of a TV without a TV use tax.
I saw a history channel thing on the Gestapo. They said that in reality they might have 4 or 5 agents for a typical city. They counted exclusively on informants. But Hitler never dreamed of total surveillance like the UK has today.
Mass murder was the simpletons solution, todays elites have made that a silly excercise. Their only goal is utter compliance.
And old socialist is like a doctor circa 1915, using leeches. A modern socialist is like a modern doctor with all the experience of 100 years, and modern technology and medicine. He achieves all his goals and doesn’t use the earlier crude techniques because,,,, he simply doesn’t *need* them. No need to murder you when you can lose your job, the respect of your peers, your healthcare and are left to stumble around as an object lesson to anyone else who would think or act the way you did.
It should frighten us more,,,because they will never be so stupid as to try to round us up like european jews in 1940. They know that would trigger a violent resistance. Their provocations will always be smooth and designed to be just under the threshold where we grab for our rifles.
Of course,,they don’t know us well, and one day, they might miscalculate. History is filled with such miscalculations.
No need to do that, so they won’t. Only crude asian and african nations do the mass murder game. Besides, it’s a practical impossibility as long as we have our guns, and they know it.
You wanna see our future, look at England, not China. We are headed towards a micromanaging constant-surveilling superstate. Dissent will bring immediate suppression.
As Savage put it once, We are looking for um pa pa bands, and trains to death camps. Meanwhile the modern communists go to harvard, speak at the national press club, and occupy the white house. And expand an ever bewlidering array of regulations and laws ensnaring us all.
But* i will give you this. On the mere CHANCE that you have it right, we better all hang onto our guns good and tight.
There has never been a successful genocide against a well armed people.
Just another commie community organizer who made good...
Near the end, Stalin’s paranoia was discussed.
He was not afraid of external enemies.
He was more afraid of his own people.
I was quite struck by that.
I thought of how Obama’s administration is less afraid of jihadists than he is of our own citizens who only wish to preserve our country.
This is the scariest video I’ve seen in a long time.
We’re so screwed...
This thread will hopefully encourage people to share this link to this Stalin documentary. I also write a small financial blog with about 900 subscribers and posted this Stalin link. The reactions are the same “Wow!”
