....Obama got his panties in a wad when Germany wouldn't let him speak at the Brandenburg gate during his campaign...they said that priviledge was reserved for leaders who had accomplished something...so now the sullen little wimp sulks and refuses to attend the event at The Wall.

Plus, it's not about him. The POtuS can't handle the spotlight being on someone else.

He couldn’t bring himself to honor an achievement instigated by a Republican.

Not even Clinton was that low, was he?

To 0bama the fall of Communism in Eastern Eurpoe was not a good thing.

But he should be happy as he has been fully successful in turning Ameirca into a Communist country.

Congratulations Dear Leader! (sarc)

This fraud makes me sick.

Basically, he's doing this to thwart the impetus of Reagan's legacy for posterity. Hopefully his poll numbers in Germany will sink as a result of this.

He's as slimy a politician as they come.

“Plus, it’s not about him. The POtuS can’t handle the spotlight being on someone else.”

...you got that right!....that was the reason he wanted to speak at the Brandenburg gate during his campaign...he wanted to give himself gravitas when all he had ever done was be in the Senate for 150 days.

Why would a Communist celebrate that?

Its only the most significant geopolitcal event in my lifetime and probably that of many others.

Zero can squeeze in a few rounds of golf instead of recognizing it.

I pine for the days of Clinton, especially post 1994.

Gridlock, governments shut down, scandals undermining his agenda, impeachment, etc.

Sure, our taxes were higher, but I’d almost take that if the tradeoff was to have Obama on the run the way Clinton was after 1994.

I never liked Clinton, but felt for the most part, that the Republicans kept him contained. I never thought of him as being evil, like I do with Obama. I think Barack won’t rest until America is destroyed.

Why should Obama be compelled to attend a ceremony for which he does not agree with? The celebration is for something good not evil. He’ll go to shake the hands of Chavez, meet with gays, community organizers, Olympics, baseball or campaign for Corzine but for heaven’s sake don’t ask him to attend a freedom rally cause he’ll be hanging his head low.

Very interesting front page of the DNC Times of Los Angeles (the L.A. Times, for those in Rio Linda)

They had the big headline of “Health Care bill Passed in House”, or something like that, but instead of Nazi Pelosi’s grinning mug, and those around her, there was a picture of the Berlin Wall. a GIANT picture.

I doubt that putting those two things together was intentional, as reliably left as that paper is.

Like Rush said...”a communist wouldn’t celebrate the wall going. Only the wall going back up”.

He must ignore it. His side lost. He is just being true to his communist friends.
