A law enforcement official tells The Associated Press that the FBI will probably look into whether Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan associated with the hijackers.
The official spoke on condition of anonympity because the investigation is ongoing.
Hasan's family held his mother's funeral at the Dar al Hijrah Islamic Center in Falls Church, Va., in May 2001.
At the time, Anwar Aulaqi was an imam at the mosque. Aulaqi has been investigated for alleged terrorist ties.
The two 9/11 hijackers attended the mosque in April 2001.
Shaker Elsayed, the current imam at Dar Al Hijrah, declined to comment when reached Sunday by The Associated Press.
Hasan also attended the Muslim Community Center in Silver Spring.
Dar al-Hijra is one of the most notorious mosques in the USA and has been for decades. Reports on activity there were provided the FBI in 1992 by disturbed Muslims. The FBI did nothing.
The AP has the story, now we can watch as the media outlets bury it.

My question is what the hell must this man have been saying to the combat veteran soldiers he was supposed to be “counseling”?
So we are spending billions of dollars on politically correct airline security, but when some guy who is an officer in the military attends the same mosque as known terrorists our military leaders look the other way. Of course we have a president who has associated his entire life with radicals, communists and yes terrorists, so I guess it all runs together in some sort of maligned way.
Just like OMOSLEM sat in Rev Jeremiah Wright’s church for 20 YEARS, but doesn’t remember anything......

But can moslems qualify as traitors if they never believe in the USA to begin with? Don’t you have to be a REAL American, THEN betray the USA, to qualify as a traitor?
