And returning to the original subject of your post, here's the latest, from the Islamic leader of Hasan's mosque, who was praised as a moderate voice after 9/11, then fled the country to nest in the heart of the enemy:

"And after all that, returning to the states with nightmare scenarios pushing them to the point of despair, they are offered — the services of a radical muslim counselor?"

That's where you go wrong. The events with Hasan only
became prevalent after the current election. The situation was
handled according to Army Regulations and procedure.

Hasan was reprimanded, given poor reviews and shipped out.

That in it's self was no small feat.
Remember Maj. Hasan was part of Mr. Obama's Transition team.

What do you suggest?
That Hasan should have been Court Marshaled?
Under what UCMJ?
Arrested and sent to RCF?

The commanders did their job.

Your blaming the victim, The Army.

Never mind we have an administration that is emboldening
the terrorists.

Never mind that this sort of thing ( attempted terrorist
attack on us soil) is becoming a weekly event now that the
current administration is dismantling a national security
system that kept us safe for 8 years. After a knife through
the heart of the intelligence community you blame the Army?

Elections have consequences and this is one of them.
Expect more in the future. I will be putting the blame
at the feet of the real instigator, the current
administration. The one that think the real terrorists
are pro-lifers, returning soldiers, vets, Christians,
tea party attendees, those with criticisms of the current
administration.

Khadeeja Nuur out of Washington D.C. has created a Facebook page in support of the Fort Hood terrorist Malik Hasan.

I only hope the FBI is all over these creeps.

What exactly needs to be stopped? Civil liberties? Based on spuriously gathered intel? That’s just great. Next you’ll have the FBI rounding up every member of the congregation of a church that an abortion doctor murderer went to, or we could start rounding up everyone with bad eyesight the next time a mass murderer with glasses rears his head. Guilt by association isn’t something I remember being listed in the Constitution or in any current laws as a valid reason to arrest someone. This guy was a nut who deserves to never see daylight again, but that’s it. He’s no different than Charles Whitman or Seung-Hui Cho. If you don’t like the way our country works then you are free to leave anytime you wish. Don’t let your fear make you do stupid things, and what you are implying is plain stupid.

You're hopeless. This cancer didn't begin with Obama, although the odds of curing it became slim to none with his election.

Try reading, Dave.

From today's NY Daily News:

He was supposed to help her hero son - but all she saw in Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan's eyes was evil.

The mom of a soldier who received psychiatric treatment from the accused Fort Hood gunman said she was frightened of the psychiatrist from the very beginning of her son's stay at Walter Reed Medical Center.

"I looked into his eyes, and he scared me," Cindy Gagnier told the Daily News. "He made some comments to me that made me feel very uncomfortable, and I don't become uncomfortable very easily."

The New York-born mother of four was at her son Christian's bedside constantly after he suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2005 while fighting in Iraq.

The young veteran, who also is dealing with posttraumatic stress disorder, spent 18 months at Walter Reed, where Hasan spent six years on staff.

That Grand Rounds rant that Hasan gave at WR, warning infidels that they will suffer the beheading, burning wrath of Allah? NPR reports that it happened "a couple of years ago."

And that's only two reports among dozens.

That extremist mosque he attended? Since at least 2001. No one noticed?

Try accepting reality, Dave. As despicable as Obama is, this cancer was allowed to grow and metastasize long before he took the stage -- the result is mass murder, and serious damage to public confidence in our military and intel agencies.

The real gap is 1988 to 1995 after he graduated High School, I don’t think he was enlisted because he has almost no service ribbons. His official bio pic only show a National Service Ribbon, he should have gotten more than that if he was enlisted for 8 years, an Army Achievement medal at least or some kind of overseas service ribbon. Also, he has no jump wings or any other kind of qualification badge, you have got to do that stuff if you want to get promoted.

Even the guys running Wiki thinks something is fishy with this timeline. I would say it is poor reporting by so-called Journalists.

I'd normally say the same, except that the Army released his officer record, and it indicates that he graduated Va Tech in 1997. Both VT and the archives of the local paper, the Roanoke Times, indicate he graduated in 1995.

And his record indicates ROTC service, whereas VT says there is no record.

Universities aren't slackards at record-keeping, since a graduate's future depends on an accurate record, and I see no reason for them to lie about it.

That brings up the question of why those two years may make a difference. His officer records indicates he earned a basic MD in 2001. The standard U.S. medical school curriculum is four years long.

Well, maybe he was enlisted. Look at this link.

Accused Army killer attended Barstow College, records show

The soldier accused of killing 13 people and wounding 30 others at Fort Hood, Texas, on Thursday attended Barstow Community College from spring 1989 to spring 1990, college records show.
Maj. Nidal M. Hasan was a straight-A student and on the dean’s list at the college, said Maureen Stokes, the public information officer at the school.

He took six classes and earned 19 credit hours. His classes - all basic courses - were English, history, sociology, math, political science and biology.

Hasan’s official transcript indicates he was an enlisted man, an E-3, at Fort Irwin at the time but John Wagstaffe, public affairs officer at the Fort, said Army records for Hasan only go back to 1995.

“Our records indicate that he was not at Fort Irwin,” Wagstaffe said, “but we are still checking other possibilities.”

Stokes said the college records show that Hasan attended the classes at the college’s satellite campus on the Fort. She said the records also show he was an undergrad and was undeclared for a major.

Otherwise, Stokes said, “Our records are pretty sterile and generic.”

Thanks -- that's what I suspected.

Here we go again, though, with the Army record clown-show:

Hasan’s official transcript indicates he was an enlisted man, an E-3, at Fort Irwin at the time but John Wagstaffe, public affairs officer at the Fort, said Army records for Hasan only go back to 1995.

“Our records indicate that he was not at Fort Irwin,” Wagstaffe said, “but we are still checking other possibilities.”

And the college gets its very appropriate snark in:

Otherwise, Stokes said, “Our records are pretty sterile and generic.”

Translation: no need for a PC cover-up on the part of the college. I'm not sure we can say the same for the Army at this point.

“NPR reports that it happened “a couple of years ago.”

Ahhh.
There is a source we can trust, NYT Wash Post, NPR.
Now those folks never twisted the truth or lied.

To them the U.S. Military has aways been the enemy.
I see you go right along with them and their Marxist rags.

Show me who all this was to reported to (prior to 6/11).
When were the complaints filed?

Like they don’t have his enlisted records if he went green to gold. Cover-up in progress.
